Ah, there are plenty of mechs from the early TROs that were very slender and humanoid that weren’t Robotech material (Commando, Javelin, Spider, Firestarter). And it’s important to note that despite their outward appearance, even the slender Valkyrie-derived designs were still characterized like most other

I started out with Mechwarrior so I really like those designs, but I’ve grown to be a massive Gundam fan as well. The Titanfall designs fall into an awkward middle ground for me that appeals to neither sensibility. I still like the games though.

I have a feeling that the NSX, under most circumstances, would lose to the GTR, and that this tiny victory is probably a fluke. We’ve known for a while that the NSX’s statistics were good but not mind-blowing. The GTR, when new, was leaps and bounds ahead of its competition. That the NSX has had all of these years to

Simplify and add lightness, I suppose.

It certainly does look like the balanced sports car I’ve head the Toyobaru is.

Pretty much the only purpose VR serves is to emulate the first person perspective better than a traditional screen.

The Rurouni Kenshin ones are kind of exceptions though, too. Even Japan can’t reliably do anime live action right.

Because this world is flawed and imperfect.

Reminds me of the train missions in Lost Planet 2. Neat.

Forza has had really tight embargoes in the past.

Changing individual components does create small differences, but there’s an “auto-upgrade” option that will make pretty much any car competitive against the AI you’ll be racing against.

The game does a pretty good job of explaining what each kind of upgrade does, though.

Why should they, though? The biggest examples of huge negative feedback I can think of within this same context are Infinite Warfare and Metroid Prime Federation Force, both of which got canned by fans for reasons outside of whether or not the game was actually good.

Yes, the idea of Metal Gear being a co-op zombie

The PC version is only for Windows 10, though, right?

Holy shit dude you’re right

Though in this scenario, there will be lower-cost versions available that can still play the same games.

It can’t be the GT86 replacement because it’s too big, and it can’t be the sub-86 because that’s the S-FR.

For a lot of Pokemon, there are excuses that make sense. Larvitar is tiny but extremely heavy, but it’s called the “rock skin Pokemon” which implies its biomass might be composed of materials heavier than flesh and bone. Same goes for other pokemon made out of weird things.

I am aware of what mass is and how it works. My point in that post was that small animals equal in size to similar Pokemon are much less massive, and that large animals equal in size to similar Pokemon are much more massive.

I’m not surprised that the article’s repost has brought more replies to my comment... Even if the particular example might not be the best, there are plenty of others. Just look at some of the new examples added to the article- the problem is that most creatures that small shouldn’t weigh that much.

Now playing

Has anybody mentioned Sonic Adventure 2? Say what you will about the game’s hokey writing and the 2/3rds of the characters that weren’t fun, but DAMN that soundtrack was phenomenal. Character motifs, stage themes, all of it was good. Or, maybe, most of it was good.
