I didn’t catch Microsoft’s attempt but the Ubi one felt almost in poor taste.

“Deepest condolences. I’m standing next to a giant giraffe and a candy cane. Let’s talk about the games we want you to buy.”

I don’t know how they would have done it better though... so much for constructive criticism.

Kinda? All of the Horizon games are like smaller, more polished TDUs.

The art looks shaky (I thought we would have a variety of characters available too?) but the gameplay looks pretty fun. They’ve got time to polish everything, but it doesn’t have me quite as pumped as other Kamiya and Platinum games.

I have a feeling this might have been meant to be a joke or a cruel prank, that the game/app puts you in a situation that only makes your arachnophobia worse.

How inspired!

The Titans Return line is going to have some great stuff, and it’ll be a breath of fresh air to have some new molds in circulation. There’s going to be a triple-changing Megatron/Blitzwing twofer and a new deluxe price point Hot Rod, too.

I’d say “you get what you pay for” is a pretty good way of describing NECA products. I’ve handled a few PAK before and they’re great figures, but yeah, I can’t deal with $80-100 for a single figure. I prefer the smaller 6-inch scale (SH Figuarts, D-Arts, Figma) anyway. If you know where to look you can get most of the

If only NECA toys weren’t so... NECA-ish.

I appreciate them being cheaper than their Japanese competitors, but there are a lot of ways that a higher cost would yield a better figure.

Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon has projectile-based physics and some variation in materials, but nothing quite as advanced as what you described.

And now, my deadliest ninja jutsu! “Mouse Cursor”!

I’m pretty sure The Last of Us came out in 2013, was on the PS3, was HD, and plenty of people talked about it.

The Last Story, on the other hand...

It’s a neat idea, but there’s already some crew management elements to the Silent Hunter games, where you can also directly control the ship. Personally, I’ll stick with them.

Do we actually have any idea what FFvXIII was going to be like, or what its name really meant?

aaaaAAAAAAAAAA

I don’t see a resemblance.

Looks fun, even if the ships are a little too bouncy for my taste.

Color me somewhat interested, at least in the campaign. If only the multiplayer would incorporate those awesome vehicles in a manner that really mattered.
