Yeah. The armor mechanic really differentiated Einhander from a lot of other shmups at the time. Gunpods having HP and your arms being invincible also added an optional kamikaze approach. Use it to block light rounds, or smash on an unprepared enemy to steal its gunpod.

I am so happy that you got out of this relationship. Thank you for sharing your story, I wish you nothing but happiness in your future.

"Chicken Little related" lol

Ha, you had me there for a second! +1

Market saturation - they printed a lot of his books, his other work is pretty compelling too.

All four Iowa class ships are still around as museums. Shouldn't take too much work to get them fit for duty again. Hell, they were in worse shape when they were left to rot in mothball after Korea.

Considering that the surface area of the blades that consists of "edge" is by design very very small, hitting yourself with these isn't always going to be much of a problem even if they are sharp. You're more likely to get the flat of the blade than anything else.

The weirdest is when my Japanese prof would suddenly switch to English. It takes your brain that split second to catch up, bc you're expecting Japanese, so for that short moment you can hear what English sounds to people who don't speak English!!!

Super fun :)
