Do you have PS4 Pro?  If not, I believe that by itself lowers the resolution and performance a bit.  If you are using a Pro, then a PSVR2 isnt going to improve much unless they somehow add a dedicated processor to the set, as its the PS4 hardware thats holding back performance.
