Same here man, VW really lost their way. I was a die-hard MKIV/MKIII fan, but now their whole lineup is vanilla.

VWs USA problems in 3 points: 1-reliability issues, 2-watered down cheap versions of cars passat/jetta/rabbit, 3-WHERE IS THE EUROVAN?!?!?!?
This!!! Seems like anyone can take a frame, put wheels on, then strap a rocket to that.
Did they give Jeremy Clarkson designing credit?
This is what I was saying. So then whats the point of buying v8 Chargers and crown vics if they aren;t going to be used for pursuit?
So the Macan is the Porsche version of the Q5/Tiguan?
I'm curious and maybe someone can answer this. If you are rich, is there ANY traffic infraction that could even touch you? Even say, doubling the speed limit, couldn't you just hire a lawyer and be done with it in a second?
When I was in college my friend from Brazil got one of these. His parents somehow called the dealership and paid for it over the phone, it was interesting. I drove him to pick it up and it was this blue/purple blend. That weekend we took it to see a movie on a double date with my girl and his. Took it up to 110,…
Lets just call it what it is, a TVR wannabe. I like the Northstar swap but leave it in the Fiero body, not this.
Really like those older gen Grand Prixs. The 2 door model with the 3.4 is beautiful. That body with the 3.8 swap is perfect.
Oh I totally understand. When I first got mine it sounded like there were marbles in the engine. Turned out the supercharger gear was toast. After replacing about 1k in parts it ran like new. KR is bad in these cars but its all about the tune. Mine was very hard to tune then we found out that the fuel pump had…
Agreed times 100!!!
No its not too small, and no knock. Its all about the supporting exhaust mods. Its tuned and has the colder plugs. Timing has been advanced quite a bit tho. I have seen some use as small as 2.6.
Ah thanks man! Was looking at the one on 3800performance.com but don't know anyone who actually has one. I heard they beef up a chain in the gears or something. Gotta check it out. Only thing I do know is the CV joints are damn near bulletproof. GM used an HD setup which works well and i've never had to replace…
These ar the chrome (fake) 5 spokes. I like the look and was thinking about a mild drop. Either that or the 5 spoke ones like on a Bullitt Mustang. Can't remember the name of them right now.
Damn, you're right, it kinda just ends…yikes
Allow me to shed some insight into this. Wilmington is a BIG college town and most of the students there will walk RIGHT out in front of you. I mean they will look you in the face, and step right out, like "fuck you AND your car". I have had to slam on brakes more than a couple of times. And no, this does not…
Oh for sure, I still say these are the LAST American cruiser. The W body and the Panther from Ford were the last ones.
That vid I pulled from YouTube, but mine has: flow mater 40s, u bend delete, res delete, high flow cat, headers, intake box, plugs wires, 3" pulley, 180 t-stat. Was thinking about cams but was wondering about its effect on being a DD. It HAULS! Can keep up with a GTO no problem. The transmission has a rough time…
HAHAH actually its funny you say this. There was a recall on my Grand Prix to replace the oil filler neck. It sits right above the front manifold, and would leak oil. I have seen it smoke and once actually flare up. GM issued a recall about 4 years ago.
