THe 3.9 is good but the trans thats hooked up to it is BAD. I think it gets to 60 in one gear haha.

Heres a pic of her, not too shabby for 15 years old! Also mine has sunroof delete which I hear is kinda rare.

HAHAH Its funny you say that I'm on my 3rd trans right now. The next time it goes its gonna have to be a race modified one. The engine never gives me any trouble but the trans…..total POS. Interior is kinda rough too haha.

Oh yea totally agree. It needs to be retired thats for sure. What its going to be replaced with won't be what it was tho. The 98 body style was getting old in 2002 actually haha.

One of the BEST airports?!!? I have to nominate RDU in NC. Everything is in a straight line, can't fuck it up.

One of the terminals McCarran in Las Vegas. The WHOLE terminal is empty you jut keep walking forever. I had to take TWO trams to get to my plane…..

I love how people wanna bitch about it catching on fire, yet in a normal car it wouldn't matter cause you would already be dead. This car is changing motoring as we know it, like it or not.

Now playing

EVery time I turn the key in my 98 GTP, and that thing roars to life I am in love. Good mpg, SUPER comfortable on road trips, plus supercharger scream. Mine is black with black interior. WIll be keeping it forever. It was the LAST American cruiser.

Grand Prix GTP?

THey tried this crap in NC and it was shot down. Also, Tesla installed a supercharging station in Burlington, which is located right in the middle of the state! Suck it legislators!!!

I like how people tripped out over the Tesla burning earlier, now what do you think happens when a fuel cell vehicle catches on fire?

Its NOT a dumb plan. They basically walked in, asked for the keys, and drove off LOL.

This!

Left hand on steering wheel. Right hand index finger and thumb will hold the burrito. The remaining three fingers on the right hand (middle, ring, pinky) will do the shifting for you. Grab down to shift, and use the palm of your hand to shift up. This is how I do it in my 87 Pathfinder.

My boss had a 2006 model and the thing fell to pieces. Were were outside smoking a cigarette and the back bumper fell off one side, no shit. Interior was bad too.

The next time, that chair would meet my back bumper, damage be damned LOL.

I have seen 1 Encore commercial and its a middle aged white lady driving around a city. Seems like typical Buick to me.

Dude GM is lazy and you know it. How do you feel about the Regal in GS trim? Now ask yourself why GM hasn't placed some of the engines from the ATS/CTS in the GS and REALLY make it a special model. I can't believe somebody said they would like a compact "luxury" suv crossover WITH a diesel, and some GM executive

Why is it a Buick tho dude? Think about it. Lets say the small Diesel is great and has decent power and MPGs. Thats nice but why put it into this? The mindset of the Buick buyer isn't switching to diesel. I'm just saying that if GM wants to build a micro suv fine, and if they want to build a small diesel then

There is NOTHING "first in its niche" about a compact suv crossover. What you meant to say was first in its niche FOR GM. EVERYBODY KNOWS GM does large SUVs well. When I think of small crossover suv I don't automatically think Buick, and the Encore isn't going to change that thinking. What age group/type of buyer
