Newsflash: every gathering of strong women does not automatically turn into a catfight. Film at 11!

That too!

It seems a foregone conclusion that at least one of Kirk Cameron's kids will be gay.

As a Jewish woman, seeing her in action fills me with such pride, I can't even tell you. (especially after I have to sit through listening to fellow Jewish Virginian Eric Cantor, who fills me with abject shame)

As Debbie Wasserman Schultz (official BAMF of the Democratic Party) said on "Meet the Press" this morning: I don't think any woman finds it humorous to be called a slut.

I can only imagine! My family are all liberal radicals who immediately called bullshit when they found out he was speaking. On the plus side, I didn't have to worry about begging/buying extra tickets to commencement.

Ooh, I feel your pain, too.

My commencement speaker was Antonin Scalia. That was 15 years ago and I'm still pissed about it.

A Jewish-American classic! I bet his Hebrew name was Isaac/Yitzhak. I don't think I know an Isidore (or Irving, another Americanized version of Isaac) under age 75.

Bad men will be flying!

Gorgeous!

Yeah, me too. I was never Team Diana anyway, and the amount of hateration directed at Camilla was unbelievable, and always of the body-snarking variety. No way she deserved that, IMO.

"'Tis proud I am to wear the leek upon St. David's Day!"

I think Camilla would be an awesome stepmother-in-law. She seems warm and down to earth. (This based entirely upon second-hand media stories and the one time I was at the Orange Prize ceremony and she was a presenter. She was very cool and friendly to all the authors and publishing types).

Notice how I'm taking for granted that both the subject of the OP and this commenter have no interest in doing the right thing.

I love this comment so much I might let it put just the tip in!

I pretty much make that face every time a Republican politician comes on TV these days.

Relativism: the last refuge of the people who simply can't be bothered to give a fuck about doing the right thing.

Agreed. At least I'd know who not to invite over for Shabbat dinner.

It would send the message that Amazon chooses not to profit from the sale of products that promote racism, hate crimes and genocide.
