@pucca2009: I give so much credit to people who were yelled at and have managed to break the cycle. It's so hard. One of my cousins has struggled not to yell at her kids and says to me that "All I hear is my dad's voice yelling in my head."

@lemonsquares: Yeah, that would have resulted in such swift—albeit non-violent—retribution that I would never EVER have done it again.

Every adult I know who handles tough situations by yelling and raging was yelled at and raged at as a child. Those of us who don't, almost always weren't.

@wishywashy: Who says the child will ever find out? I kind of suspect that Roger or Rapey or both will be killed off before this kid is born (if she didn't abort it, that is).

What that is is up to her...and she may conclude that being the child of a married couple is better than life as Roger Sterling's love child. (Or whatever...I suspect Charlie's going to kill Dr. Rapey by the end of the season, making it a moot…
