OOOH, SNAP!

Was she wearing the hijab when they agreed to hire her? It's no surprise to me that they pulled this shit on one of their employees, since that's how they roll. But I would have thought that A&F would flat-out refuse to give a job in the first place to anyone who looked different from their ideal.

@SlayBelle: That's exactly what I thought! She had her mouth wired shut to help her lose weight. That shit was fucked up.

@Cairn: Are you fucking kidding me? THE PERSON WHO BEAT HER IS RESPONSIBLE. Way to be another victim-blamer.

@tcurt: Also, Tony's a massive insane Ramones fan.

@CurtCole: If Utah turned out to be the wrong guess, I'd have gone with Texas.

So if a woman returns to her abusive husband, he beats her and she miscarries, this law holds HER responsible???

@eclare09: Yeah, I can definitely see the Ann Coulter thing happen. But I also think that in general, women who are angry will go after her hard-core, which is going to be very unpleasant and painful for someone who's young and just starting college. We all feel so vulnerable at that point, y'know? (esp. if she's

@slightlyhardup: I'm guessing that she'll be regretting it hardcore in a few years when HR recruiters do a Google search of her name.

@eclare09: I dunno. Yes, there will be people will agree with her, but they probably won't seek her out or be nice to her because of it, whereas the ones who disagree with it are going to LET HER KNOW. There's going to be WAY more negative reinforcement than positive reinforcement here.

@armadillo: has no idea what kind of response she's going to get from this

Somewhat beside the point, but:

@randomnessish: Yes, I completely agree with you. I think they were setting her up because they knew the reaction would be explosive.

I was routinely beating the shit out of my high-school age male cousins in Trivial Pursuit when I was in 6th grade, so yeah...I believe that.

@kerald: For serious. Can't get the toothpaste back in the tube, folks.

@LilyBonesBurana: I've never seen or even heard about your sex tape, so you are therefore A Credit to Your Gender.

@DaneCA: No. Absolutely not. When you get that deep into addiction, you don't just clean up overnight. And making excuses like "I would have been partying in college anyway..." is classic addict excusifying.
