@CurtCole: I'll set you up with a copy of the Levi Johnston Playgirl while you wait.

@CurtCole: For realz. I'll take him over moody-boy any day.

This brings me an inordinate amount of delight.

@winner: They're going to need a hell of a lot more people as a sample.

@Zombie Ms. Skittles: exactly. I don't know how this study even qualifies as legit. I could reproduce it hanging out with my brothers and their friends in our basement on a weekend night.

Those were all excellent!

@curiousgeorgiana: Oh yeah! Really, all you need to do is load up a camera, bring it to a gay pride parade and explain the project.

oh, I am TORN between 1 and 2.

@bowleserised: History doesn't cease to be relevant as soon as the active players die out. Things that happened in the recent past—we're only talking one generation here—most definitely affect the culture of the present.

@bowleserised: Of course not. Never said it was. Just think it's ironic that this nation is the one running this ad campaign.

@UrbanAchiever: It's the implicit societal approval that strikes me as relevant, i.e. when you know something bad is happening to your neighbor in the next house or on your block, but you choose not to help them.

@effgeevee: So sorry to have disappointed you. I hope you'll be able to carry on somehow.

@bowleserised: Yes, that's true, which is why I'm refraining. The vast majority of the Germans who will see this are not the same Germans who looked the other way in the 30s and 40s.

I am THISCLOSE to breaking Godwin's Law right now.

Congrats to all y'all, but esp. to WTFox for recycling a meme with style!

@bluebears: I guess we already know where the Tooth Fairy stands...

@bluebears: Where does Flying Spaghetti Monster stand?
