Biggest give away she’s not a rower or cox is the absence of anything rowing related on her social media. Rowers are usually pretty besotted about rowing (not to mention it takes up a lot of their time), her Insta should be overflowed with rowing pictures.

Freshman year my coach wanted to make me a cox (probably because I was too light even for the lightweight boat), and let me tell you, steering those things is freaking hard.
