I spent my weekend getting my electric truck ready for the Colorado Mile. I broke one motor at the last race at 900hp. I hope to make 1300hp in the race this weekend.

Fabricated the linkage and mount for the hydraulic clutch master going on my ‘65 Comet Cyclone.
Spent the weekend wrenching on my daughter’s 1989 Dakota convertible. Cleaned, painted and replaced all the front brake components, painted behind the grille and bumper. Upgraded the headlights to euro style lights from sealed beams. Felt good getting all this done, but still have a lot to do to get it ready.
Prepped an engine bay for LS install.

Bought some new tires for Project POS Camaro. The previous ones were dated to 1998. Also got around to setting the idle speed using an actual tack instead of by ear and adjusting the choke as well as diagnosing a “clunk” coming from the left rear. I’m pretty sure it’s just the exhaust system hitting things. Oh, and…
