The V8 Karma is cool, but it kinda lost it's thunder when Dodge started selling a goddamn 700 hp freedom-sedan for less than the price of a CTS V Sport.

Lutz says the Destino will be the only American luxury sedan in the $200,000 price range, about 1,000 pounds lighter than the Fisker Karma, and "among the fastest four-door cars in the world." Right now their website claims the estimated zero to 60 mph time is 3.9 seconds, so they'd be correct in that.

Former '67 owner here as well. I agree, I liked the bigger versions. 65-66 were nice but I'd take a 67-68 over them any day.

I saw a video a while back of an Aussie running a Jalpa with a GM LS motor swapped in. As a child of the 80's albeit with an aversion to driving pyrotechnic devices, it appeared to be the best of both worlds!
