I hear ya. Anything that bolts behind a 2J these days is $$$, when I first got the engine I just wanted it on the damn road and it came with an auto.

Eh, whats a couple more pounds when you add 100hp? The 2.3T with its iron head and block was a heavy little bastard too. I have a 302 that I just picked up for my other project, and I really dont think there is THAT much of a difference. The 68 doesn’t feel nose heavy or anything.

Some of it (when you see water) was shot over on Vashon. For the part with the farm and the big tree, there is a neat little road on the other side of the river from Maple Valley highway, just past the golf course / soccer fields. Jones Road I think. I live just up the hill in Fairwood :)

Front is all new (stock replacement) suspension with 5 lug disc brakes. Rear is an 8.8 out of an Explorer, also with disc brakes. Oh and subframe connectors.

Definitely. That’s the only reason mine is still auto. Which honestly isn’t that bad. 

Definitely not a higher price. I paid just over 2K for an entire front Aristo clip delivered to my front door. If you want to make power with the 2.3 you’ll spend that on just a ported head / cam.
