I'm sorry for your infertility, that's a very tragic thing when you want your own children. I'm sure you get a lot of super insensitive comments as well as being pegged pro-life.

Congrats! My daughter is 19 months now, and it's been amazing. The one and only positive to come out of losing our first is that I appreciate everything so much more. Every moment and every milestone, I can't get enough.
Are you a Xena fan? I can't think of Ares without thinking of that show. My daughter is named

I would have dearly loved to, but I never saw really saw her. I heard this through my friend. She felt so much guilt because of me, and with her sister lecturing her on my supposed feelings, she was terrified that I would never speak to her again. I was pretty clear with how I did feel though.

It would have almost made things a little easier, to have something else to think about and someone to take care of. And someone to just sit and watch a show with would have been awesome. I watched WAY to much Netflix by myself.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope you are able to or have found some peace and

I think that people really don't consider someone who is already a parent having an abortion. If I was in the wrong situation to have another, I have my daughter to think about. Her quality of life and happiness is more important then a potential future child. I'm glad that you were able to make a decision that's in

A few months after the death of a baby my husband and I very much wanted, I found out that a friend had had an abortion. She was terrified to tell me because she thought that I would hate her for killing her child (her words) when I couldn't have mine. Her sister used me as an example of why abortion is evil. I was

Still one of my favorite movies of all time.

The most I learned from my Barbies was that Skippers little tween boobs were super hard to file off so I could finally have the Ken doll that my mom always said no to. Also, her hair looked terrible chopped off.

From hearing Lupita herself speak, she's very happy that she's being seen to be a roll model for other darker skinned girls. She is visible in a way that is saying that it's ok to be this dark, you're still beautiful. Her speech at the Essence Awards is inspiring and should be heard by everyone.

You mean it's not?!

Seriously?! He's insane!

My new answer to "what's your type?" from here on out is "Time Lord." Thank you.

Don't forget vaccines!

That was my first thought. He's at that age...

Tells you how little I use ketchup then....

Every bottle of ketchup I've ever bought I have had to eventually throw out because it's so far past the expiration date. I only buy it when I need it for a recipe. It's...not gross, but I certainly don't like it much.

Any time taken to make a decision to veto something so disgusting says a lot about what she really thinks.
That said, yay!

It's a distinction I'd want to make.....

Dead ringer. Very romantic.
