this is the highway though. most people are prpobably going too fast for the curve in the road, and then they cant do anything but go into the ditch when they finally see it. the snow makes it absolutely crap visibility past a few hundred meters

I live in Edmonton which is just north of this area, we've been getting huge snowfalls and then melting temperatures then snowfalls. Not only are the roads icy from the melt, its also filled with potholes. just the worst.
