Yeah, the stick being in front doesn’t work physically, it was just a way to maybe clarify what point you are controlling with the game. Your input either controls a focal point, for your character to look at, or controls the characters head directly.

That’s inverted y, if you lay the controller out horizontally, but it’s the same concept as a big joystick attached to back of your skull. Push up, and your head rotates about the x axis. Pull down, same thing. Or you can be controlling to focus point, down to aim down up to aim up.
