Nope, I agree. I work in this area, so I see it all the time. Huge custody battles between people who decided to have kids together, but didn't feel like they could "commit" to the other parent. Guess what? You are now together in this for life. Marriage without kids is way less of a commitment.

Under U.S. law she is. After an acquittal,the prosecution cannot ask for a retrial or an appeal. Even if there were errors, the errors benefit the defendant...oh well. Take OJ. The DA couldn't appeal that, they have to live with the verdict.
