Even as a seven-year-old, I was so baffled at the drug lyceums my school would have where they claimed that drug dealers hang around the playground, give kids stickers with acid or LSD on them, and then the kids are hooked on drugs FOREVER! My allowance was $1 a week, I could not afford drugs. That’s just a horrible

“ If you don’t succeed in business, you shouldn’t be the first one to step up and complain about getting paid.”

I mean, mine were no shockers either. But I talked to the girlfriend about it, and having it on paper with someone else describing what they mean provide a good talking point to understand the other person.

My friend had her wedding dress made into baptismal gowns for her babies.

If it was before the wedding, then yes, I would totally have done this. After the wedding, well ... I understand the desire to hang onto your dress. I still have mine and it’s never going to fit me again.

What a fucking strange thing to complain about. Always has to be something.

Good for her. Who knows how many women she may have saved - not just from being raped, but from being murdered. Hopefully she will inspire others to come forward, hopefully the cops will do their jobs like they did in this case, and hopefully women will eventually be far less likely to ever have to face ordeals like

my husband’s dad’s family is a minefield of who’s not talking to who/cut off/estranged. Every wedding is a freakin’ s**tshow and IT....IS...AWESOME. Who will sit where? Who is on which side of the room? At my brother-in-law’s wedding, the dad and ex-wife(hubby’s ex-step,mother of the groom) were not speaking-15 years

I feel like this is sort of bittersweet. On one hand, it’s wonderful that the police listened to her and took her ordeal seriously instead of dismissing or arresting her because of her background. On the otherhand, this is what law enforcement should be doing for EVERY victim. Treating all victims with dignity and

PEOPLE STOP RESPONDING TO THE TROLLS, MY GOD. There’s hardly a single redeeming conversation taking place in the comments.

Not to detract away from the rapes and murders because those are awful, it was nice to read that she was heard by the authorities and the judge didn't just throw her into prison and that the system worked for her. I super fucking needed that today.

One of my relatives has a laugh like a braying donkey that can be heard several blocks away and she’s never been kicked out of anyplace. Never even been asked to tone it down a bit. She’s white, though.

They weren’t just told to “pipe down,” they were kicked off the train. Not just any train - a booze cruise on rails. They have a case IMO.

actually “because they’re black” is why the noise rules were momentarily applied. the rule is supporsed to be ignored for “our kind of people”.

Several white passengers back up the black women’s stories and saying that there were rude, obnoxious white people but they weren’t kicked off the train.

Hahahahaha, oh Brayden, darling, did you read that delightful new Bruce Williams column in the daily print out of the internet that one of our several butlers brought us this morning?

I love Broad City, I love Key and Peele, and I love Amy Schumer. Must see TV.

Hell yeah she did.

Stop sending ambiguous signals like being nice. It’s cruel to lead men on. But also don’t be mean, because then you’re a bitch and deserve what you get. Note that “being mean” includes remaining emotionally neutral, you frigid slut.
