Thanks!

Damn! Care to share the list of those? I use a bunch already, but if it's free, more=good!

I'm pretty sure they're well versed when it comes to making money. Yes, it isn't popular, but it is well known that popular opinion isn't necessarily correct (especially when most people aren't too savvy when it comes to PCs). All I hear is whining from the unwilling to change. The kind of people who still preferred

Distracting, uncomfortable and annoying? Just because of that? Maybe it's just me, but that's just being way too sensitive. "Oh my! There goes my attention! The whole screen changed for a second!" You can complain all night and day... the way things are looking, the new interface is here to stay. Either install a 3rd

Too late. I was a big Xbox360 fanboy, but I'm not rather excited to get the PS4.

Who needs shadow to be able to tell the difference between an icon and their background? Are most people really that stupid/visually impaired?

Oh please, iOS 7 is a blatant ripoff of Android 4.0+ in many, many regards. Deny it all you want, it doesn't change facts that are clear as day.

Yeah, engaging in comments doesn't take much though, so take it as you please. And yes, I do prefer the whole Screen rather than a corner. Why is that important? Are you gonna look somewhere else when looking for things in the Start Menu?

Yeah, but you totally missed the point. Read between the lines, look for the intended message, don't take things too literally, he was just trying to explain a behavior in a simple way.

Ha, the Start Button. All it does is what the Windows Key has done from the beginning. Maybe it's just me, but since I do most of my navigation with hotkeys, I stopped using the Start Button since Vista and always found the Start Menu clunky and cumbersome, while my personalized Start Screen has everything where I

Oooh, someone's mad. The old trained dog trick. Come up with something new at least, how predictable.

Nope. I'm a desktop user and I personally found the changes in Windows 8 easy to get used to, and I really liked most of them (didn't like not having the option to boot to desktop, but it's being fixed now).

Ooh, someone's defensive. And obsessed about the third grade for some reason. Are you okay?

Fair point, but consider the time both OSes have been out there. Android has always been much faster at implementing new features. Also, iOS is as dull as it gets when it comes to UI, and VERY clunky and inefficient when it comes to changing basic settings, like Wifi and brightness. Yes, they're FINALLY fixing that

Resistance to change is a bitch. I don't miss the Start Menu at all. Takes a lot of time to get to things, it's cluttered and unorganized. The Start Screen is much better, most people are just slow like that.

I do use the Start Screen quite a lot and I love it, but I really like having the option to boot straight to Desktop. After all, I don't really use it right at boot. Mostly to get to my files, which I rarely do right after booting.

Are we the same person? That's exactly how it is for me!

It's still more expensive, it still includes the Kinect even if I don't want it. It's still a no go. On top of that, I still won't buy it just to spite them.

A knife-gun with magnets? Sold.

Agreed. There was more change going from Android 1.0 to 2.3 than iOS from 1 to 7.
