What do you mean "ruin"? I've used Windows 8 since its release and I haven't encountered any issues at all with my games, or anything else for that matter. Bandwagons are fun to ride right?

Finally, someone with a brain around here. It's been tough to tell everyone around here how Windows 8 hasn't been a problem with gaming at all by myself. Thanks for helping out!

What's wrong with that? Have you used it? Have you encountered any issues with it? Don't go making stories up, because I'm a PC gamer myself, and I've been using Windows 8 since its release without any issues. In fact, everything is running smoother than before.

Great list Whitson, I'm very thankful for practically all of them with just a couple of exceptions because I don't use them (Instagram, Mint, because I'm not in the U.S.)

Wow, thanks! I saw that when I was 8 as well and it scared the living shit out of me! It's been about 16 years and I never knew what the name was. Just looked it up on Youtube. Oooh the creepy memories haha.

Ok so reading some of the comments around here I finally found it! It was Alien Abduction The McPherson tape, and maaaaan did it freak me out back then!

Ha! Me too! I always enjoyed watching shows with UFO footage and stuff like that, but it ended up giving me a hard time sleeping. It only got worse when I saw a movie about alien abduction, I'm not really sure which one, but it was creepy as hell for me.

Oh, that makes even less sense then. That's clever and funny I guess?

That's true, sometimes it's not easy to come up with/create a functional layout. As much as I love customizing my devices, mainly my PC and my phone, I'm not that creative in that matter. I feel like I have a lot of stuff to work with, but I don't really know how to unlock its full potential, and that's saying

Well, this is cool and all, but it CAN'T be healthy. It just can't.

Oh Lifehacker. There's always something useful here whenever I need any DIY project. Thanks!

Anyone who understands that as well is a friend of mine *salutes*. Every time I hear those "arguments" I feel like giving the person a swift kick to the jaw. "OMG MAC IS BETTER BECUZ...YEAH", "Windows? More like WindNOT!!!", "Have fun with your BSOD HAHAHA". I can't help but ask myself how do they not notice they're

Maybe this is a different version, but from my experience, Apollo has been really disappointing. Out of all the Android music players out there, Poweramp is the best IMO. One of the best app purchases I've made.

Like it's always been, if you have virus problems, it's a user error. Plain ineptitude and lack of judgement on the user's part. It's ok, most people aren't smart enough to properly operate a computer and need their hand held to avoid screwing up too much.

Well, the more combo-centric gameplay does sound nice. Too bad I don't own a PS3 and I'm not rich haha.

Well, there's actually a whole lot you can do to customize the interface in Android. You can make it look like iOS or WP7/WP8, or design something from scratch, like some people do here http://lifehacker.com/homescreenshowcase/forum

Nice tip! I'll be doing it this way from now on.

Get Torchlight 2. Much better than D3 IMO, and it's only $20 :)

I like WP8 overall, it looks sleek and smooth, but I don't really like the interface :/ Is it just me? I feel like it's rather monochromatic and "closed", I don't know how to describe it. I just feel like I have much more room to play with on my Android to customize the screens to my liking than I would have on WP8,
