And they were awesome.

Nice car. I am considering buying one of these, but ideally wanted the 3.5 Type S with the 6-speed, although they’re hard to find. I’m told the gearbox is awesome, do you have any comment?

So The Italian Job gets all the credit, but...

My Saab doesn’t have ANY glove box, because the person who ordered it in 1995 decided to spring for the newfangled passenger airbag instead. And you couldn’t have both.

The car looks pretty beat-up to start with. Notice the patch of white paint/filler on the front as they’re driving.

That might be a tad difficult because it can’t go round corners. The front wheels don’t steer.

Just posted the same thing. There were lots of mistakes with cars in MM. They showed several 1/18 diecast models onscreen. There were no 1/18 diecasts until the 1970's and the ones they used dated from the 1990's-2000's!

The small white roadster in the 1970's footage is a Fiat 850-based Siata Spring;

The “Chevette” looks a bit more Suzuki Cultus/Geo Metro shaped to me (albeit with the rear license plate in the wrong place.)

I think it’s pretty cute too. It is infinitely better looking than the fug Mirai and has cooler doors. Does need wider tires.

The Fiat 127 wasn’t originally a hatch either, it had a tiny trunklid. The hatch came shortly after launch.

For some reason that gif of it sliding down the bank into the river is mesmerizing.

The point. I do not see it.

I used to have one of these, this exact model actually, the 1.3S. It is NP but only IF the car is as nice as claimed and there are a few things you need to check to make sure, like the mounting points for the front subframe and make sure there are no cracks in the paint above the center of the front wheelarches. This tail-light says Chrysler Crossfire. I love the rest of it.

What is this and why have I never seen one before?

I actually saw one of these being driven once. In New York. Which means they sold at least one!

I actually knew this and he seems like a cool guy. And I’m sure Marine training to withstand torture comes in very handy when you have to be in close proximity with Lena Dunham on a daily basis.
