Whitewall tires on steelies.

I actually saw a brand new Mirage the day before yesterday, driving along the road. And I thought “Wow! A Mirage! A human actually went to a Mitsubishi dealer (who knew there were still Mitsubishi dealers?!) and decided that it made sense to give them money in return for a new Mirage, even though it really doesn’t.”

NP but only because there’s at least $800 worth of parts here.

Yes. 95/Manual/Defeatable TCS

What does the stick-shift version look like? </troll>

A couple of months ago I went to the self-service wrecking yard. A 9000 Aero like mine had appeared in inventory and I had visions of pulling an immaculate Aero interior and flipping it on saabnet for $$$. By the time I got there, however, other Saabists had beat me to it and the car was picked clean. The only thing

@ Garland - I could write a whole thesis on why I hate Skyfall and everything I think is wrong with it (which is basically... everything). It’s also interesting to me that not a single one of my friends liked Skyfall. And it’s clearly a very polarizing film because everyone I’ve talked to about it either love it or

Thanks, I’ll bear that in mind.

Interesting. I unequivocally, rabidly HATED Skyfall. It is the only Bond film I have watched only once and I refuse to watch it ever again. I consider it the worst film in the series - worse than Golden Gun, worse than Thunderball, worse than Octopussy. The. Worst.

Fuck the stupid environment, I want one of these now!

An awful lot of Goldfinger makes no sense. But it’s all so COOL you don’t notice. Or if you do, you let it slide....

Ahhhhh. Why am I still gray?

I will be surprised if it gets three viewers.

See y’all. I’m off to SF to throw myself in front of one of these panda-lookin muthafuckas. It’s payday, bitches!

We know Andy well (he is on our Advisory Board) and he collects mostly dollar cars - we have a blog post about him here where he talks about what he collects.

There’s an argument to be made that Tiffany Case is actually one of the smartest Bond girls in the entire series. She’s clearly a brash, tough opportunist while she thinks Bond is Peter Franks. But when she realizes she’s in over her head and that Bond is Bond and as such is likely to win, maybe she’s putting on that

You’re welcome! Really enjoying your posts.

Slight correction; Mie Hama did not get turned down for the role and threaten suicide. She was originally hired to play a character called Suki and Akiko Wakabayashi was hired to play Kissy. They had previously starred together in the Japanese spy thriller Kagi No Kagi (1966) which was redubbed by Woody Allen to

Call me cynical, but a quick Google reveals that the Vatican has significant shares in Fiat...

Thunderball was arguably the first disappointing Bond film. It is too long and, as you rightly point out, there is FAR too much time spent underwater. This was because at the time, underwater photography had more or less only just been perfected to the level where it could be used in a big-budget film like this and
