My group usually had the opposite problem. We always ended up going way off the rails of what the DM had planned, forcing him to make stuff up on the fly. We didn't get very far along the planned adventure in any given session, but we had a ton of fun doing bats**t insane stuff. Of course, our play style meant there

There's an older site with hundreds of Sci-Fi ships all drawn to scale. The 1X zoom page has real life objects at the bottom, like the space shuttle, and several buildings etc.

@Ueziel: You know, if you stop and think about it, regenerating health isn't any more unrealistic than health packs.

@dracosummoner: But the other three romance paths in the game are completely different. In the game, the two characters depicted in this scene are antagonistic from the moment they met, and SIE (the woman) likes Mike more the angrier he gets at her. She's pretty screwed up throughout the game.

@dracosummoner: For Alpha Protocol, I played the PC version, and the only woman my character got in bed with was Mina Tang, the controller that's been helping you through the entire game. The scene you can see on youtube was from near the end of the game, just before the final mission. The Scarlet Lake scene is at

@HackMod: The power supply itself uses a little power, but there is also some circuitry on the motherboard that is always turned on. More specifically, the IR receiver, USB ports and wireless radio that the controllers talk to. That's why you can use a remote or a controller to turn on the XBox.

I think it would have been a much better test if it had been a money order or cashier's check.

The Steam pre-sales can also include other games instead of a discount. Red Faction: Guerilla pre-sales included Red Faction 1 & 2 available immediately.

@Joshua Settle: Windows defrag is actually a neutered version of Diskeeper. They licensed the technology instead of making their own.

VOTE: Diskeeper.

You guys are all nuts. Clip-on ties are the only way to go :)

@Foxstar is in love with Kotaku's two Brians.: Yeah, I remember accidentally calling an orbital strike on my first play through. Then I went outside just in time to watch the raining fire. It was pretty awesome. Not sure if I actually killed anything, though.

@diamonddnice: I wanted this feature for my iPhone. My iPhone was my first iPod. My previous players were all Creative Zens, and they used WMP10/11. Windows Media Player had this feature. All I had to do was plug in my Zen and wait a couple seconds for it to show up on the right panel, then click 'shuffle music' and

@LexineKhavon: 2 out of the 4 monitors in my home right now can pivot, and a third one has a VESA mount, so it can be manually mounted in portrait mode. Both ATI and nVidia drivers include the ability to rotate each monitor left, right or upside down individually.

@Baladen: Especially since Game On is a PC gaming promotion.

@Pudge: Why would Intel want to sponsor free content that only plays on IBM processors?

@kazemizuhi: I went to The Family and talked to the guard outside, then killed him in his sleep later. When I went into the main subway area everybody attacked me immediately. Not sure if that was a special case because they radioed him and got no response or if it's the same as Oblivion, but I'd guess it's more

@bluetom00: I never saw the creepy guy in the bar. When I talked to the sheriff the first time I was polite, and followed all the conversation topics. One of them was about the bomb. He said I could look into defusing it if I knew what I was doing, so I went straight down there and diffused it. When I went back to him

@CaptLtrl: How can you not want a laser gatling gun? It looks great, but I haven't gotten a chance to buy one. Saw a guy using one on raiders, though.

The extra options on the overseer's computer mention a previous expidition running into giant mutated ants outside the vault, which is similar to when you leave the vault in Fallout 1 (I think the attached image looks an awful lot like something from Fallout 1). There's also a letter explaining that your vault was not
