I think you completely missed the point of what “seemingly impossible” was referring to. Creating one viral video is difficult and takes a stupid amount of luck. Doing it time and time again is what they’re referring to as being seemingly impossible.

American steel producers have raised prices to match those of imported steel.

The tariffs protect pricing for domestic steel manufacturers. So, by making the Chinese steel more expensive to purchase, it allows domestic manufacturers to raise their prices.

No, the objectification of women won’t change if y’all keep justifying it. Nothing is going to change if you just shrug your shoulders and say “well, shit happens”. Getting a little annoyed about something and demanding a change within your own community is how we got stuff like voting rights for people who weren’t

It's creepy either way, friend.  Let's not be asking teenagers to sign body parts

There’s not as large of systemic oppression of teenage boys. Not that it doesn’t happen, but to look at it without the context of systemic pedophilia and sexism is asinine.

Perhaps the issue is that regulation implies assent — “you can do this if you do it in this way” — and they don’t feel ready to define that.

Domestic industries will realize that their competition, the imported goods, are more expensive, and will raise their prices accordingly.  They may set their prices to be “just” cheap enough that you’d buy domestic over the import, but everything gets more expensive for consumers.

“I’m just an Italian-American guy, standing in front of the FIA, asking you to fuhgeddaboudit.”

It wasn’t so long ago that making “America great” meant keeping out all those Italian immigrants... How quickly people forget. Or maybe we are all just hypocrites.

“Why did you do that”
“I am a young man of Italian descent

Ferrucci called his actions a “mental lapse,” and said he has “no excuse other than the fact that [he is] a twenty year old Italian American with a deep passion for motorsport, which is a very emotional sport.”

Inference seems to be his Dad is paying for his drive but yes article is not clear on this.

UAW is trying to force a vote and since Tesla is actually safer than UAW plants they have to make their own trouble.

So basically he’s saying there’s a spah ‘round here?

Building an “Us vs. Them” mentality is a great way to drive up employee production...

A few random thoughts about this story:

The difference to me is that an average driver will look through the windows of the car in front. I don’t think radar can do that. The Tesla can only see the car directly in front of it. Whereas a driver will typically see several cars in front, or at least have a general idea of where they are. Even if they’re behind

Average? Probably. Many experienced drivers know to look ahead of the car in front of them: Is traffic far off ahead coming to a stop? What’s the driver in front of me about to do encounter?

Having an expensive product does not equate to greed. I can get a $12 steak at Outback or a $50 steak at Ruth Chris, doesn’t make the latter greedy. The rest of your subjective analysis is fairly obviously biased by your initial sentence.
