How much testing is enough testing? Do you believe they have done enough controlled testing? I honestly don’t know how much they have done in a controlled environment, but I somehow don’t think it has been enough.

I hope Uber resumes after a full and public analysis of the incident, regardless of how quickly it happens. Responsible engineering means taking time to do things right.
She was killed by a human. The safety driver who wasn’t paying attention to the fact the autonomous tech wasn’t doing its job.
You can’t test for human behavior in sanitized conditions.
I don’t think you completely understand BoP. It isn’t slowing all the cars down to the slowest car, it’s bringing all the cars to set performance envelop. For example, all the GT cars can go faster than they currently do, but they have restrictors so that they are brung back to how fast the series wants them to be. We…
GTLM is basically GTE-Pro. GTD is GT3. Neither class is actually unique to IMSA.
IMSA’s prototype class is comprised of both DPi cars and LMP2 cars. IMSA’s job is to balance the performance between the two classes. They absolutely have the ability to do that. Maybe not to the second on lap time but to a race pace, 100% for sure. DPi however is IMSA’s baby (Grand Am’s actually as it was created by…
How dare you hear profanity on our station! Go think about what you have done.
“on behalf of the viewers???”
I agree, but I also think GRC shot themselves in the foot this year. They were adding the UTV class, which was cool, except then they went and made all of the classes spec classes, so why would any manufacturer want to participate now? Maybe World RX saw an opportunity to capture the american teams who now own cars no…
Because GRC cut the supercars class for this year. The top class this year is going to be racing spec cars.
When people complain a show feels scripted what they really mean is that it feels wooden.
I agree. Sometimes it feels too scripted/forced, but I think that’s still a better alternative than a free-for-all. Without a script it would easily turn into every bad YouTube car video.
I really don’t understand what’s wrong with scripting?
I enjoy The Grand Tour, and both shows are scripted. I hope both continue. Competition = good.
The penalty is extreme for sure, they’re obviously making an example of him to try and clean up payday lending, because as he says “this is standard for the industry”.
TILA requires lenders to avoid “Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts and Practices” (UDAAP violation).
They still went over the loans being illegal, but they didn’t dwell on it nearly enough to make it well understood.
While in his mind, this is the standard practice for payday loans
I watched his episode on Netflix the other night. While in his mind, this is the standard practice for payday loans, they did not make it clear to the people they were lending money to that the idea is to pay it off in one pay check. I don’t feel bad for this guy, him and his wife are heartless and clueless. They…
