Yeah, and it’s not like it’s worth bragging about. Killing drivers isn’t a good thing. Being challenging for them to succeed at is.

They tried that, but nobody was interested. They dropped it to 32h.

Managing the hybrid is 10x the work an h-pattern ever was. The drivers spend more time thinking about the hybrid than their driving now, it has to be automatic.

It was a sprint race before the hybrids came along.

I was mostly referring to his previously faked stories. If he’s faked it before, it could be that we just haven’t figured out what he has faked since.

Can I say Fake News? This is what’s supposed to be referred to as Fake News, right? Intentional falsification or misleading, rather than “I don’t like it”.

Sure, but if you’re going to put two amateurs in the car, you might as well go the whole way with three of them. Besides, if you really want to push the limits of the car, Sausset can’t really do that. He doesn’t have the fine control, plus it takes a significant amount of time to get him in and out of the car.

A policy can be discriminatory whether or not it’s intentional. If it discriminates through inequal consequences based on race, that by definition is racist.

I think the better team would be Liam Dwyer (one leg), Billy Monger (both legs), and Frederic Sausset (quad-amputee). Show the full range of abilities.

Sam Schmidt’s Corvette is partially self-driving, though. He ‘s basically telling the computer where to go instead of giving wheel/pedal inputs. He was able to sim race with it, but it’s not something appropriate for real-world motorsports (too slow right now, too much driver aid if it improves).

And this is more or less why I’m not a Republican anymore. Of course, the justification of “but the private email server wasn’t that bad, it’s just classified information” is why I’m not a Democrat anymore, either.

Allegedly, at least, since we don’t actually know how much he’s worth.

Here’s hoping. The first year of the CotA joint event the WEC had mediocre attendance for their Sunday race. Here’s hoping that had everything to do with Sunday and nothing to do with the WEC.

It’ll be interesting to see how the IMSA and WEC weekends perform now that they’re separate. Between the difference in fanbase, the weather, football season, etc they could both be roughly the same as before or vastly different.

Now playing

Not the first time a Porsche has wrecked someone on the pit straight.

NASCAR don’t have problems because about 10x more people watch each race, so selling ads is a breeze.

Still terrible ult economy. You shouldn’t use 4 ults at once anyway, just enough to ensure you win the team fight. They popped four and lost to one, meaning his team likely still has a 3 ult advantage going forward.

Those are the WEC times on different tires and with a different qualifying format. You want the IMSA times, where they were doing 1:58.7s last year.

Worth noting, if you’re in the US you sadly can’t watch the IMSA.tv stream.

On the Prototypes or GTLM/GTD cars, probably not much if any.
