This is only question left in my brain - one I return to every fucking time I’m forced to listen to that gargoyle bloviate. The man is so clearly, visibly, demonstrably, literally senile. And I have no idea how any rational fucking human being in this god forsaken country looks at him, still, and says “yep, that’s my

I mean, network television isn’t all bad, but with streaming services and increasingly superior shows on smaller cable networks (looking specifically at FX, which consistently knocks it out of the park), I’m just not paying attention to it anymore.

Same. The strings are the pounding thunder outside, and the high piano plinks are the ghosts in my house warning me that my husband has died in a fiery motorcycle crash.

I watch this video at least once a month and it really makes me miss the old FourFour days. They basically defined my entire attitude and outlook on life when I was in my early-mid twenties.

I’ve never found him to be unpleasant (mostly just puffy and affable, but in a totally neutral way), but to me he seems like the perfect demonstration of mediocre white men achieving inexplicable success. Also: the type of content that network execs consistently offer up to simple, mush-for-brains Middle Americans who

I think if everyone knew about Jon’s lineage they would have had a much bigger discussion about what to do with him. They wouldn’t have just shrugged their shoulders off screen and thought, “eh, doesn’t matter, let’s all get together and elect someone random.” They were there to decide what to do with the two

You can’t end on the Night King; this entire show, at its heart, is based on the Game of Thrones. You have to show how the political intrigue winds up, IMO.

:( hugs across the Rainbow Bridge. That was my favorite part of the episode. Your dog was a Good Dog.

I think a lot of fans who complain about the speed of the show (or “jetpack theories”) are basing their opinion off the Kings Road episodes where the action happened over the span of a few days. The episodes aren’t all contained in those sorts of windows; I believe many are told over the course of a few weeks.

The only reason Bran won is because he brought his own chair.

Also, I seriously doubt that anymore than like 10% of the population can actually read. (if you looked at any of the signs in King’s Landing they were all pictoral)

I find it a little stupid that Arya is suddenly the first person, in the thousands of years this show is supposed to be based on, to have the idea to sail west. Although it has always bothered me that the map is flat and just cuts a straight line off a) North of the Wall and b) somewhere east in Essos. What’s beyond

You missed the part where she drew hearts and “TOTAL HOTTIE [flames]all over Jaime’s page.

I think Tyrion and Bran just kept the Night’s Watch around as a formality to get Grey Worm and Yara off their back about Jon. My interpretation was that Tyrion was sort of wink-wink-nudge-nudging Jon into seeing that he’s now free to live happy North of the Wall. Like, “this is your punishment, promise me [wink] you

This is exactly how I received the episode: boring, boring, pretty bummed out that this is the last time we’ll have a new episode of GoT...

As for Yara not peacing the fuck out and no one mentioning Jon’s true parentage: I think those are both entirely plausible and realistic scenarios that in a perfect execution would have been addressed. But for some reason we gotta wrap this show up in five minutes so sorry no time! - D&D

Tyrion’s monologue on Dany was so perfect and pointed it almost felt like it was shot last Monday or Tuesday. Like D&D were like, “shut up all yall this is why Dany Is Bad.”

Same. A democracy would have been counterintuitive to Westeros’ culture and tradition. Or more to the point, it would have de-legitimized the entire energy that drove all of the show’s stories and currents. I’m glad that the writers and characters in that scene were like, “nah, this is still Game of Thrones.” They

I audibly squealed. I was feeling kinda “meh” on the whole episode but once that happened I decided THIS WAS THE BEST EPISODE OF TELEVISION, PAST OR PRESENT.

I WAS that person, and I’ll say it again here!
