Okay, I totally forgot that it didn’t have a save function.... Now that you mention it, I remember leaving the game running for a whole weekend at least once, with my SNES under a vented acrylic cover so nobody’d fuck with it, lol.

This writer needs to play more Jurassic Park games. Not including Tresspasser and Jurassic Park Sega CD is a huge oversight man! Maybe they were before your time?
“The Good” and you don’t have Jurassic Park for the Super Nintendo on the list?! That game was amazing. It had the movie license but included a lot of the sidestories from the book, like nerve-gassing the raptor nest, etc. (Yes, as a 12-year old I had actually read the book. Because I’m an enormous nerd.)
SNES Jurassic Park? Many a times, I have never made it through that game...
I think a lot of what you’ve said here is a fair read. Zack and I were looking more to her character, and you’re looking to her actions, I think? Like, she messed up a few times this week (failing to notice Nemeroff’s warning signs, and not realising Tilly is walking into danger by confronting Clarissa/Melba), and she…
I remember Scott Kelly saying the worst thing about being in zero-g all the time was the fact that you could never lay (or sit) down.
But pasta nachos are real.
do 10 YO boys really cheat at Mad Libs? My experience is that they just answer everything with “poop”, “butt” “farting” “barfing” “ugly” etc.
I’m only surprised that Patti beat Olive Garden to inventing Lasagna Wings and Pasta Nachos.
There’s more Italy than necessary.
Probably just go limp and let your body’s natural tension / ligaments / tendons put you into the least stressful position.
As I watched Holden float through space I wondered what the most comfortable position to drift along would be, would you try to lie ‘down’ or take some other position?
must.....not......comment
Your points about Anna here are a great analysis of her character and why I’m so happy with how they’ve done her on the show. Anna’s great strength is that she cares, and that she cares enough to try and fix her mistakes, even if it’s something like an apologetic message to Nana and Nono after she’s made a decision…
Regarding the starchild scene... Recall the earlier line, “sometimes I know this too big for my head” ... Paraphrased. How would you visualize someone getting an infodump that way so far outside they’re existing context? Starchild scene seems fair.
It was just a one off for context.
I loved Miller floating before Holden in his space walk. That’s some ready made promo & poster art right there. I give the ending head-trip a pass: a healthy B+ at the end of an A episode. Only because it’s like on the one hand the show is saying “We’re the Expanse. We’re a fucking good Sci-Fi show and we want our…
I like how this show gets lightly thematic. They never beat you over the head with things. The story of the woman jumping to her death with her cats just lightly ties to Holden’s leap into the sphere & the Thomas Prince’s countdown to entering the ring - their leap of faith.
“... with her cats?”
“I haven’t felt fear since I was five years old.”
