The funniest thing about this post is that it includes a tweet from Grant Paulsen acting like he knows shit about baseball instead of just parroting what all the other baseball people in town were tweeting after the game.

For my parents, that was a hellish 4-6 years (I started in this regimen sometime in middle school and ramped it up as my body required more and more food) - looking back I don’t understand how they could afford it all,

Definitely plays a role... that was high school through freshman year in college (the college year’s meals moved to a dining hall, rather than lots of mom food), and I’m 38 now. I put on at least half of that pretty much immediately upon quitting, but the rest is due to age and general apathy around working out

As an ex-swimmer, eating was anything but a chore, but I didn’t time mine out like him. I ate an ungodly amount of calories per day, and it was the most wondrous life ever. I’m now 40 pounds heavier than my swimming weight, and I just can’t figure out how to make myself eat less.

I’ll be honest, I saw your comment before I watched the “making of” video, and was hoping to make fun of you with a variation of “why don’t you watch the ‘making of’ video you dummy.” Then I watched it. It conveyed almost no information. Sad! I mean, I guess it showed us that a couple of people worked really carefully

Tip of the hat to you.

So you’re a big enough boy to not find strip-clubs to be titillating, but still such a little boy that you think women make great background scenery. Got it.

I was going to say that eNJYneer311's friend’s method was amazing brilliance, and then I read your comment and thought “that’s even better.” But then I thought about my mowing of the grass. I spend an hour and a half riding around on the tractor with music in my headphones and beer in the cupholder, and my kids

How is this possible? I have an army of fucking rabbits around my yard now that my dog population is down to 1 that is too old to do anything about them; but the little fuckers are nowhere to be seen when I’m on the lawnmower. The ones that do panic and make a break for it when I’m near some bushes are so damn fast

Umm; I guess so?? Not sure why, but cool.

I think, at least I hope, you responded to the wrong person. I was taking the fabricated outrage guy to task for being an ass.

Where did anyone assume they will? The point is that we accept a small amount of bad with the good, and we try to educate/shame/etc. people in leaving the former to join the latter. So, since the Flyers know that fans have been known to sometimes throw things on the ice, should they install a plastic dome over rink?

I have internet anger issues.

Well, now this comment is sitting there grey; so thanks Kinja. Wonder if it signifies that it’s still editable or something.

First off, what the fuck are you talking about with my comment being shaded to look like quotes; my comment is sitting there in white like all comments normally are... fucking moron.

Did you actually think you had come up with some kind of great witty comment or insight here? Is there any single moment of our days where people aren’t expected to follow some standard of behavior, and face consequences for not adhering to that standard? The answer is ‘no’ if you haven’t figured that out yet.

God-damn, I’m not even 2 minutes in and I’m fucking dying.

In just a few lines you’ve managed to perfectly encapsulate my thinking. I’m planning on watching the numbers prior to the Maryland primary and making my final decision; but unless he stands an actual shot of winning the primary here I like the idea of voting for him for the reason you mention. Like you I just don’t

Yeah... there was a local rock fest when I lived in Montana (mostly garage and noise stuff) called Totalfest. Not only did it mostly hit my sweet spot for music, but I loved the fact that they alternated stages; so a band would setup on one stage while another played on the other. So you’d watch a band on one, walk

Music festivals are the most efficient means of making something awesome - seeing some bands - into something fucking terrible. The bands you might actually like typically play shorter sets, and it always seems like the two bands I really wanted to see are playing at the same time. Add in massive crowds and festivals
