I don’t disagree; not covering Jenkins was a huge mistake. I’m just not surprised that he was open. I don’t think anyone in the building thought about him until the ball was in his hands; at least I wasn’t thinking about him.

I couldn’t believe how many 3's they were hitting in the first half, but it gave me confidence in ‘Nova’s chances in the second. There was no way UNC was going to keep shooting like that, but damn if they didn’t almost do just that.
I won’t argue that Hicks shouldn’t have been on Jenkins, but Arcidiocono was looking like he was going to do exactly what he and Booth had done the entire tournament - drive toward the lane, and pull up and nail a jumper. Almost everyone watching that game had Arcidiocono taking that shot; but Jenkins got in position…
They even referenced that happening as the TBS broadcast was signing off.
I thought the same, their mic must have been some kind of perfect spot in relation to them because that was straight up weird.
I had the same thought at first, but in fairness - that’s not a great view from there. All he would have really seen was the ball going through the basket.
That’s what I keep going back to, the two final possessions would be replayed forever in their own right. The final NOVA play was beautiful though; design and execution were perfect.
I came here to make the “if you can’t throw them, should you be ranking them joke,” but I found this list to be unassailable. Can you ladies teach us more about good sports/ball opinions?
Peeps are garbage, and I heard they're Ted Cruz’s favorite candy. But Easter also gives Robins’Eggs so it’s not all bad.
You are correct, and can’t fathom how it was upheld either. Actually, if I remember right it wasn’t even upheld, it was overturned. I think the umps in the park called it a HR. It’s been a while though.
I don’t disagree with you on spreadableness. To be honest I’ve only used this method twice; both times were when we decided we wanted to make cookies, but didn’t have butter out that was whipable. This method gets you there much quicker that sitting out, and much more safely than microwave.
I think there are definitely exceptions to the rule; but 7 days is still a pretty reasonable amount of time to be able to leave butter out.
This is the correct way to butter.
You are insane. Room temp butter does not go bad quickly at all. In 38 years of life I cannot think of a single instance of butter going bad. Every stick sits on the counter for a week or more.
I, or my family, has been leaving butter out for as long as I can remember. When I married my wife, butter on the counter vs. the refrigerator was one of our first recurring arguments. She grew up in a refrigerate only household (her mom is very particular about things). I don’t remember when I officially one, but 8…
I get it now!!
Well... now I feel like a jackass. I picked that up with your comment, but not the original. I’m so used to people coming into baseball threads to talk shit about how boring it is, that I’m not used to be saying they “heart” it.
I guess maybe? But you can see that the padding stops well above the ball. I mean it *was* under the padding, and he’d have had to reach back a couple of inches, but I think “wedged” would not be the term I’d pick. I will say, that I definitely agree the Cespedes one was more ridiculous by a long shot.
Please enlighten me.
Sure?
