You nailed this car with this review. This was my first car after college and is long gone now, but I always love seeing an EP3 on the road. The engine was the ultimate undoing of this car - desperately needed the K20A or K20A2.

I wish they would move on from the Civic Si and create a Fit Si. A nice K20 in the Fit would be a true successor to what the older gen Si’s were. If the Fiesta ST works, why not a K20 Fit?

This reminds me of an op-ed I read years back in SCC about how cool it would be if cars were more like bicycles, in that there are standards (there are more and more “standards” in bikes now making this harder) that are used across manufacturers, essentially allowing users to build and spec rides to their liking.…

So much overhang

Is this the first 4 door iteration? Based on the above pics, it looks like it was a 2 door for about 30 years. Seems strange for an 8 person vehicle.
