That's fair. I just wish he would leave Earth alone after they kicked him out because it really hurts me to see him fail every time.

Really? No one has mentioned this guy yet?

But his motivation isn't being picked on as a kid. He is trying to be a good person despite his sociopathy. The taunting is actually a small part of that, used to illustrate how he has trouble relating to "normal" people, and he is soon accepted when he shows himself to be exceptional.

To be fair, IT had grown complacent through many years (centuries?) of never being challenged; the resistance and emotions of the Murphy children were foreign things against which IT no longer had any defense.

Actually, the Circle Universe rules make perfect sense.

There is an excellent series on this topic:

I used to own a coffee maker with an alarm clock feature built in. I kept it in my room and I would load it up before I went to bed.

This is amazing except for the idiotic point about duration. A show does not get better because it drags on for years. This would imply that Fawlty Towers is not as good a show as Full House because the latter show has 16x as many episodes.

Anthony Stewart Head. I want an older doctor who works in genre shows and has an amazing acting range. Someone who can do dark and can do fatherly. I know he's another white male doctor but, if that's the direction they go with it (which I find likely), he would be perfect.

I have been playing the original Final Fantasy Tactics on an emulator on my phone and it is surprisingly playable. That game holds up.

The Incredible Hercules with Amadeus Cho (when Hulk was out of commission for a while) may be my favorite run of Marvel comics ever. It was written with such humor and is a really fun look at how the Greek gods have integrated themselves into today's world.

While I don't agree with you on Highlander, Claudia Black was a stunning omission from this list. She brings a heap of awesome to every role she plays.

Yes! I was going to say GERTY from Moon. He is friendly, and even a little rebellious, but he certainly isn't evil.

The Dark Knight does not satisfactorily tie up all of its disparate plot threads and strikes me as bloated. I found much of the movie to be good, but it is definitely overrated.

Have one cup with Giles, then do an incantation to draw in The Doctor for a nice cuppa and a chat.

How about this guy? His prescience is more clear and he is willing to take any steps necessary.

This one can tune!

If only there were a spell check for pedantry.
