Nissan has itself to thank for Maxima’s demise, with each generation what used to be a very decent looking sedan just kept leaning more and more into bizarre and hideous.

In 1990 only two sedans got to take up real estate on my bedroom walls, an SHO and a Maxima SE. I guess middle-age takes a toll on cars as well as people. (TBH, even the ones from the 4DSC years understeered terribly)

Nissan totally missed the boat here. Should have followed Chrysler/Dodge and made a Skyline Edition limited to 2000 units with a special paint color.

“Rare” is Craigslist jargon for “good value, dead ahead,” right? Besides the jauntier looking but less practical two-door configuration, it might be rare because most people got at least a slightly higher trim. (Can’t tell from the interior pictures and lack of an underhood picture whether it even has air

As a former multiple time owner of XJs I’ll pass on the 2dr. They provide no benefit over a 4dr while only increasing inconvenience.

You had me until I read there’s a 4-banger under the hood instead of that rock-solid I6. There’s such a thing as a vehicle’s engine being too stressed with too much load of the time (car just weighs too much) by being undersized, and I bet this 4-banger always gasps.

I’d be more inclined to NP it with a 4.0. That 2.5 in a Wrangler was a mouse motor and I’d be concerned that the price combined with the leisurely performance of the included engine would make me regret my purchase at that price.

I have an 05 W211 with the CDi. The car has been dead reliable and has 239k. Best thing is that it’s not a Bluetec so there’s no DEF or EGR nonsense. The car is a literal tank, it can just cruise for days at 40+ mpg on the highway.

same engine but a V6"

Don’t alert anybody to the Donald being 100% right on this one. Heads would explode.

We have ourselves to blame for situations like this. We spent years pretending China was anything other than an authoritarian regime that brutally cracks down on dissent and commits genocide against its own people because for years it was super easy to go there and make shit tons of money. Companies from around the

Reading comprehension much?

“If you live in Florida AND voted for DeSantis..”

So, this doesn’t include you and 4 million others.

It also has both a much higher energy density than lithium batteries and can be recharged by dumping a fluid in a tank like ICE vehicles.

Used vehicles are plentiful in my area. Peddlers of used vehicles are not short of inventory. I suspect we are at top of demand curve. New vehicle dealers still don’t have much if anything new sitting on the lot.

You need a Toyota in your fleet as the support vehicle.

Reading comments from Tesla stans are always entertaining.

I am continuously impressed by the mental gymnastics that Tesla fans will do in order to justify the bad quality control on their vehicles.

Uh-huh, you wait till a real recession happens and people who were barely handling their car payments find themselves out of job and can’t make them. Given how there’s way too much money tied up in car loans now, it could well cause a depression to the economy as the car loan house o’ cards comes tumbling down from

I really don’t know why I visit this site anymore, just to drive up engagement by commenting on shitty articles like this. I’ve become part of the problem. Later, bitches!
