Seems like there might be cause to sue the pants off some San Mateo officials.

I wonder if the shop owner will be able to pursue damages against the assholes involved in this.

I’m shocked: the sub $40K model that got promoted everywhere no longer exists. I wonder how many of the “pro” models actually got built... 200? 1000?

The district attorney signed off on the investigation because he trusted his ADA without verifying. The Indiana judge signed off on the warrant because he trusted his local sheriff without verifying.

People sleep on the Flex all the time. They don’t know what they’re missing.

I think most of these make sense. Sure, I thought a few were way off, but then I saw the reasoning, and yeah, that specific version is quite a turd. Interestingly, the one I think is off is the Flex. Is it my cup of tea? Well, no... I don’t care much about square minivans that pretend to be SUVs... but every owner

I had a Flex as a rental car on a work road trip and loved it as a sleek wagon alternative to minivans in a package that is very comfortable, spacious, and even fun (if you check the Ecoboost option). I haven’t experienced may “bad” Flex drivers like I have Prius, Sentra, Altima, and full-size truck drivers so I am

I have a coworker that absolutely loves her Flex. She’s on her second one, and is disappointed that they don’t make them anymore. They have tons of space and decent power, and are cheap because nobody else wants them.

That’s the Granada that the comment was describing. No idea why Owen used a picture of the European Granada.

Gigantic fucking BMW fanboy here. I’ve owned several and an E46 M3 is the most beautiful car ever made.

If the end result of this is being able to buy an electric, BASE model 3 series that includes all of the hardware for every option and powertrain that I can jailbreak into a loaded M3 equaling electric power, then LET’S GO.

This is my stopping point. I absolutely will not ever, under any circumstances, pay a subscription fee for a car that I own. No way, no how, not a chance, never happening. I’m not paying for a data connection for the infotainment system to log on to the internet. I’m not paying every month for heated seats. I’m not

Acura forces owners to spend about $300/year for the auto-start feature to work through their app and we stopped that service just because of the cost ($300 is better spent on fine bourbons, lol...)

I hate how my generation (A Millennial Here,) has made the subscription service a thing in our daily lives.

Subscription: more a deterrent than anything else for me. They only one I do subscribe, because of no choice, is Adobe. I know there are equivalents, for my business, it is not

Because drug runners are stealing cars and making high speed runs to get past the checkpoints? Because it’s martial law down there? Because Biden encourages more of it?

The traffic violations should be the least of her worries. Leaving the scene of an accident in New Jersey when injuries are involved is a third-degree indictable offense (felony) that carries a prison sentence of 3 to 5 years. The failure to report the accident could lead to a permanent loss of her license.

Another political piece on what used to be a great car site. No matter what your politics are this used to be a place people could come together and read about cars. Now most articles are divisive clickbait. Erin you seem to miss the point of this site and aren't welcome here.

As a whole though, we have become a society that refuses to properly punish people for their egregious transgressions.  I keep hearing the argument when it comes time to punishment of “don’t ruin two lives over this”, when it involved the death of another.  It is time to actually properly punish those that kill others

As a reformed drunk driver, I 100% concour. Gounardes needs to cut the shit, though; this is absolutely punishment, but also restitution. This isn’t going to prevent anyone from drinking and driving (that’s not how DUI’s work), but it will help recompense the orphaned children and make sure they don’t have to struggle
