More like the Avalon AARP.

While I disagree with taxing the fuck out of anything I’m fine if we let a few companies die to teach the others a lesson. We bailed them all out last time and here we are a decade later with all of them asking for money again. Its becoming the new norm. The car market in particular is a pretty overloaded space. There’

Ugh. This again.

“Buyers demand higher fuel economy,” you say, but not enough to stop buying trucks.

A melted front clip is an extreme but effective way to dissuade tailgaters.

Still breaks my heart Jaguar eventually switched from micro-turbines to a four-banger on the CX-75...

Rooftop Solar will never offer enough usable range. It takes a lot of power to run an EV. Most EV batteries hold enough charge to power your house for several days. You aren’t recharging them quick enough with the small area of their roof.

The straight cut isn’t ideal for strength, but with some fish plates, the joint should have no trouble being the strongest part of the frame.  I didn’t see any images of the finished joint to know if it has any.

Sounds like a question for Tom McParland.

All cheap cars like the Twingo, Alto, Panda and such are this cheap.

In the Netherlands, you can get a running twingo with a

This article would be useful for most people about 10 years ago. Now hardly any new cars actually have hand brakes.

Ummmm, manual pressure feed of the oil system prior to starting? Not only would this have gotten oil to the critical areas, but it also would have helped wash away any grit on the bearing surfaces (especially the big ends and follower faces)

I say hold out for more off if you’re interested in the Escalade. Let GM eat the costs. They need to learn how to properly transition old to new product.

This is a cool idea, and one I’ve batted around in my head for a while. But as someone who has spent a lot of time at boat ramps, I don’t think most Americans are capable of driving around a trailer, even one this tiny. So my idea was an aerodynamic Thule type roof rack filled with batteries.
