Phone: have to be within about 5-10 feet of the car to unlock and drive away. It uses Bluetooth, so it doesn’t know on which side of the door you’re on, just that you’re near it.

I am pretty sure the owner of the car that was taken left their bluetooth key or phone in the car. My wife used to do this all the time until I warned her that the car doesn’t lock and anyone can drive it away if she does this.

According to car & driver, the X3M Comp did 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and the website zeroto60times has a 2020 X3M Comp at 3.6 seconds, much closer to the 720S’ listed 2.9 second 0-60. It’s also AWD vs RWD on what looks like gravel, so even at stock it should look like that. 

TIL that a sub 5 second 0-60 is slow. Not just slow, but VERY slow.

Where are you getting that number? C&D says 3.3s 0-60 and an 11.6@119 quarter mile.
