Towing double trailers is legal in many states, as long as the second trailer is attached to the first trailer, not a car sitting on the first trailer.

I was in Idaho and I saw a guy towing a trailer towing a boat.  It was Idaho, so I didn’t think too much of it.

The question you should have asked is, “Is there a manual transmission in the lineup capable of holding the torque of the M340i?” That would signal whether it’s even remotely possible to offer one. No transmission? No option.

I bought my F30 328i a few years ago with a standard transmission. I was considering upgrading in the next few years, but with no manual available, I will probably either keep this car longer, or buy something completely different. I’ve driven some of the new automatics, and while good for what they are, nothing…
