In any event, when you are driving in Model S you can basically drive 2.5-3 hours before you charge and then charge for another 20-30 minutes and repeat.

It appears to be dead center in the main cluster, but yeah, that’s all I wanted to see.

Don’t understand your definition of “normal” in this context, because no “normal” person is going to stop for half an hour every 120 miles, which is pretty much what you’re asking people to do. Plus the anxiety of wondering how many of your fellow D-bag Tesla owners are going to be hogging the limited number of slots

The coast-2-coast runs all show a doubling of travel times... and a lot of anxiety over “charge stops”.

Yeah, that’s why SUVs and CUVs never sell in the USA. Because people just buy sensible little hatchbacks, then go to Enterprise to rent a big SUV for that annual ski trip to Tahoe.... makes total sense.

It’s pretty well established that these cars double your travel time, due to frequent-and-long stops to “charge”. Tesla can pretend that blowing a few billion dollars on Betamax-style “Superchargers” will solve this problem, but the fact remains that the route-planning and thumb-twiddling implied by having only a few

But, how can the Bolt be doing well? I read over on Electrek that it’s just a compliance car, a re-badged LG Klusterfukero and that the only company doing anything with electrics is something called Tezla...

Up until recently, “someone has to rescue the President!” was a believable plot hook for an action movie. Now, I think the action star would just shrug and keep eating his noodles or whatever.

that couldnt make that power if it wanted to and pass todays much more stringent emissions standards. apples to toenail clippings.

HP/liter has no meaning outside of a racing class restricted engine displacement.

Excuse me while I go get my own coffee because I am my own secretary.

Is that sexist that I stole some woman’s job?

Is anyone else getting the heebie-geebies looking at how the shoulder belts are mounted??

As near as I can tell, this car isn’t even a genuine Brabus built specimen. It’s a replica built from real Brabus parts mixed with newer non-Brabus suspension bits. No idea why anyone would pay the asking money for this thing. I found an eight year old article about the build here: http://www.superstreetonline.com/feat

Does it matter which one is wrong?

I was gonna get my panties in a wad and scream “COUNTERPOINT: FUCK YOU” but Mack is taking the punches well and makes some decent (no matter how vomit inducing) points. Props, keep up the good work, and make sure you check your flame suit frequently.

I can’t hear you, let me turn down the volume

I agree. Near me (Dallas) all of the Audi drivers are complete shit bags.

This is a good point. I’ve noticed more often now I’ll be walking down the street and will suddenly hear a full volume phone conversation from a car passing by even though all the windows are closed.

At first I was like how dare you besmirch an institution such as Sean Astin, then I was all, yeah, that guy, he’s the worst, and I was happy again.

When I read custom chip in integrated hardware, all I read is how much more expensive it’ll be to replace when needed.
