This E90 M3. The E90 M3 was produced only for 3 model years: 2008 through 2011, with a mere 5,000-ish examples being sold to the entire US/Canadian market. There are fewer than that here now, of course, and they’re getting scarcer every day. As the only V8 M3 sedan ever produced, some believe this car is destined to

Preach!

There, fixed it.

Another vote for (my) E90 =D

Yeah I dunno. I have the same car that he’s driving in the video and the way he continually maintains the limit of grip right on the edge of both/either understeer and oversteer just boggles the mind. Also, it makes my onboards look even more boring than my girlfriend already tells me they are.

Awesome! We’ll have the E46 330 sedan with no interior and mismatched E36 M3 wheels lol. Will be out in both yellow and green run groups. Say hi if you spot us!

That’s exciting! I’m driving Palmer this month on the 16th & 17th with the BMW CCA, and then (fingers crossed) our car is going to the cage builder. It won’t be in race shape until next year around this time probably. Race car parts should be free, I think, but no one seems to agree with me...

My pleasure!

Now playing

Maybe, but Leh Keen would still pass you in a street car (should start at 1:56).

Will you be bringing this GI Joe school bus over to NJMP for the AER race this weekend?

Oh that’s a nice fender vent and hood bump. Wonder how they came up with that...

NJMP, eh? Here’s my fatty from a couple different events on Lightning.

Spinning while managing to stay on the track is indeed a thing of beauty when executed skillfully.

I feel better about the drifters being in their own sessions. Still seems a bit reckless to allow non-instructed novices out there solo.

100% did watch the whole thing. 100% would stand there in person and watch it. Definitely would not drive in it.

Honest to god I expected to see some Darwin Awards handed out...

I think the patients are running the asylum. No other explanation.

So, so early. Like...they see the curbing and they think OH BOY I SHOULD JUST TURN NOW! I guess this is a good demonstration of why early is bad - perhaps that’s the silver lining?

100% in agreement with that statement.

Sure, I get the different presumptions of liability (though what I really mean is the presumption and effect of contributory negligence). I just never get comfortable with seeing it. I’ve watched some pretty hairy in-car from “Tourist” days on the Hockenheim ring as well. Would you subject your E90 to any of this?
