#1 - Racetrack. End of list.
Found this. Success! But what is it, exactly? Have any insight to share, Oppo?
Here is the monster truck in question, before (bottom) and after (top) the significant addition of much lightness.
My home chapter of the BMW Car Club of America had its first-ever HPDE this past weekend at the brand new Palmer Motorsports Park. The track, sometimes referred to as “Whiskey Hill Raceway,” is built in a quarry. Cool, right? It looks like this:
Couple weeks ago I made a new friend, and the E90 did too! Just thought I'd share. Happy Friday Oppo.
Special delivery (bluray!) for me from my friend in Deutschland. Is it 5PM yet? Uggghhhhh
I'm not sure exactly sure what's going on in it, but it actually makes me miss the Astro van a little bit. That, I think, is a fine compliment. Wayne Taylor on the guitar is a 10/10.
Drove some 650S, saw some P1. Skipped the Home Depot in favor of beer, chili and a fire at home. What'd you do today, Oppo?
Here's some friendly shark hunting from this past Saturday. The guy in the Z4 M is my friend Erik, with whom I've done a bunch of track events. Had an absolute blast chasing him down for a few laps. Thought some of you might enjoy the sights and sounds in this clip!
Well, kinda. CBS's "Person of Interest" is filming in Philadelphia and they've been using his car. I'm told it will be in Season 4, episode 7. For those familiar with the show (haven't seen it myself), this is the Sameen Shaw character (played by Sarah Shahi) in the driver's seat.
And no one cares but I'M DOING IT ANYWAY!
I saw a thing. A thing driven by David Donahue.
Perhaps some of you saw my post last month from the wild and wonderful Summit Point Motorsports Park. This past weekend was another event with the BMW CCA, which brought me back to my home track, New Jersey Motorsports Park in scenic Millville, NJ. There are two circuits there - Thunderbolt and Lightning - and this…
Yesterday I instructed at the Tire Rack Street Survival program co-sponsored by my BMW CCA chapter and the local SCCA chapter. It's a program for teens that focuses on driving skills and vehicle dynamics that goes above and beyond normal driver training. In fact, it's a lot more like an autocross.
I'm going to miss him.
Repost for the Monday crowd because, frankly, these pictures are gorgeous.
Got almost all the rubber off from Summit Point. Adding it right back in another week at NJMP. I feel so lucky that I get to do this. Hope Oppo had a nice Sunday!
