I wasted money on an annual subscription and I’m sure many other people have too. But when you’re desperate to find a daycare or nanny, you do what you think will help. In the end, I found my first daycare on craigslist and my second through a local facebook group for childcare. And they have been amazing and…
Happened to my co-workers daughter, she almost fell for a scam on care.com when she was looking for a babysitting gig.
I like it though I’d also like something easier to disguise. A lot of times when baby #2 was still tiny, I’d have him up in the ergo and big sister would grab on to one of the straps from the carrier. Sometimes I’ll even just tell them to grab onto the bottom of my jacket so we can navigate from Target to the car.…
Yep, these are breakfast almost every morning. I don’t care, it gets food in their belly quick because they wake up super hangry. On a weekend, I can give them eggs and fruit later in the morning.
I just got back my annual mammogram results and it specifically calls out dense tissue.
Same! Mine are 2.5 and 4 and I’m ready to learn.
What about team bralette? I have given up hooks and underwires and my life is so much better now. https://www.ae.com/aerie-bras-bralettes/aerie/s-cat/4850006
My problem with using the dishwasher was more about frequency. I washed pump parts daily, I don’t run the dishwasher that often. So my parts and the day’s bottles were handwashed in hot soapy water every evening after work.
Yep, that’s the one we use. Still put tops of sippy cups up there but used it for pump parts and bottle lids too. Mostly I washed pump parts in a bowl of hot soapy water though so I didn’t have to run the dishwasher daily.
The Star Wars ones were so strange, we almost threw them all away. But my toddlers will still eat them, no need to waste it.
I actually really like the Starbucks Via packets, better than your typical instant coffee
The Getty Villa is really great too and not on many people’s radar. I don’t know if you still need to make a reservation.
COSI was always my favorite field trip. Also fond of the Air Force Museum in Dayton.
First museum I thought of. I love the Getty and we’re members of the Natural History Museum (kids love dinosaurs) but that one is unique.
They just posted their acceptance rates this year and it feel to 11% with 66,000 applications. That’s down from 17% just 5 years ago. USC has top-notch business and engineering programs in addition to the film school which is consistently 1 or 2 in the country. And the alumni network of USC in southern California is…
Yep, same. Always broken.
I don’t know why this is directed at Millenials, this Gen X’er has small children too. We rarely go out to eat with the kids (or even without the kids) because it’s just so darn expensive but occasionally we’ll suck it up ad make an attempt. My 4 year old can handle is great, but her little brother just turned 2.5 and…
The epidural may have contributed to slowing down my labor and in turn they had to use pitocin to keep it progressing, but I’d been laboring for nearly 24 hours, mostly at home, and the back labor was not easy with my sciatica. With baby #2, everything was much smoother and the epidural was easy and smooth and my…
Same, I also got my placenta ripped out. I had marks all over my belly from him pressing down to try to help get it out. Baby came easy with the vacuum extraction though I barely escaped a c-section. This was all baby #1 though. Baby #2, the placenta came out without me even noticing.
