What? That’s insane. We pay $20K for an in-home daycare and that covers both kids. Plus they do pick up and drop off at local elementaries so my daughter can stay there next year when she starts TK.

And no one ever mentions that you don’t get to reap the benefits of that match unless you stay long enough to be vested. At my company, that took 5 years. People should definitely talk about contributions to health insurance and other benefits. My employer pays 80% of my health insurance premium but nothing towards…
It reads like they split $945 but that’s just not happening in Los Angeles. My now-husband and I had a 1 bedroom for a little less but it was in Inglewood 10 years ago.
Yep, it’s much better when spouses have their own. My husband recently got a job after nearly two years of unemployment. Having him and our two small children on my health insurance was $950/month and we didn’t have dental or vision for them. Now I pay $80/month and he pays about $500/month for himself and the two…
There are tons of popular songs that I've only heard because they get played at the gym. And I only know the artist if they say their own name in it. (Hello Cardi B)
She has a third kid? I only ever see Birdie and Cricket on her Instagram.
One, I don't understand how you could just not open your mail, but more importantly, don't you just get a 10 day payoff amount when finishing up a loan. I definitely got that from Sallie Mae when I lump summed my last payment. Did the same with the last car I bought.
Yep, the tips were bad but most places wouldn't hire a 17 year old server so I worked there for six months before college. Back when they only took cash and had a smoking section, under often get tips that were entirely change.
I feel like my best Super Bowl party story isn’t especially chaotic. All the chaos happened the previous night, at a Beck secret show in Hollywood, followed by inappropriate driving to a bar downtown, and even more inappropriate driving at closing time. I was so super hungover that 1) I couldn’t crack off the shells…
I think half the country had just gotten Tivo (christmas presents?) and watched it over and over again. I seriously don’t remember seeing much at all. I feel like you saw more boob on the Rolling stone cover.
this seems to be a hot topic among orangetheory folks. I’m a floor first (rowing/weights) person. I’d rather focus on form and heavy weights, rather than be tired from cardio when I hit the floor. Others would rather keep their heart rate elevated longer and prefer to run first, then go to the floor in the hopes of…
That’s why my mom was so excited to get to order off the senior menu. It's smaller portions but still adult food
I accidentally watched this and got hooked. Then I showed my 4 year old and it’s her new favorite show. She has no idea who anyone is but she still shouts "take it off" and ponders "I wonder who it is".
I know that it’s not easy to get them put in, but seriously, my IUD is the best thing ever. I have the mirena because I need the hormones but it makes my periods super light and my cramps are nearly non-existent. After years of super bad cramps and really heavy periods (thanks endometriosis), it’s like a miracle.
I literally startled my doctor and his nurse when I screamed during a cervical biopsy. It wasn’t my first either. Thank goodness I don’t have abnomal paps anymore.
I wish someone had put me on the pill as a teenager. But I was a nerdy prude, so of course, it was never considered. My life was so much better when I finally got bcp as an adult. They helped my acne and I stopped missing a day of work every month.
20 years here and I don’t think I’m an outlier. As far as I know, you can only really diagnose it with surgery.
yeah, that’s what I thought too. And then I found out I have endometriosis and I shouldn’t need to take handfuls of ibuprofen for three days a month. Now I have an IUD and it’s AMAZING! I only need a liner for a few days (no pads, tampons, or cups) and almost no cramps.
Why so much hate for coached interval running? I love it as an element of orangetheory workouts. I would never push myself as hard as they do. My speeds have increased a ton and I still run outside too. Just signed up for my first 8k and a 10k two months later
My high school PE class was step aerobics and weight training sophomore year. All girls except for two senior wrestlers with a free period, but they seemed to love it more than the rest of us. Small rural school in the Midwest so no swimming either.
