I wish someone had put me on the pill as a teenager. But I was a nerdy prude, so of course, it was never considered. My life was so much better when I finally got bcp as an adult. They helped my acne and I stopped missing a day of work every month.

20 years here and I don’t think I’m an outlier. As far as I know, you can only really diagnose it with surgery.
yeah, that’s what I thought too. And then I found out I have endometriosis and I shouldn’t need to take handfuls of ibuprofen for three days a month. Now I have an IUD and it’s AMAZING! I only need a liner for a few days (no pads, tampons, or cups) and almost no cramps.
Why so much hate for coached interval running? I love it as an element of orangetheory workouts. I would never push myself as hard as they do. My speeds have increased a ton and I still run outside too. Just signed up for my first 8k and a 10k two months later
My high school PE class was step aerobics and weight training sophomore year. All girls except for two senior wrestlers with a free period, but they seemed to love it more than the rest of us. Small rural school in the Midwest so no swimming either.
have you looked into a toddler sized soft-sided carrier? Tula makes a toddler sized carrier and Kinderpack makes toddler and preschooler sized carriers. I have a Soul toddler carrier (ships from India) that’s plenty big for my petite 4 year old.

I loved this show. It felt like she really loved the food. And the portions could be normal man vs food
Also good, “I will survive”. We take first aid and CPR every two years at my office.
And there’s nothing wrong with that. I felt the same way about baby #2 (he’s 2 now and she’s 4). I took 4 months of maternity leave and baby #2 just got dragged around to everything I did to keep his big sister occupied. I didn’t start taking him to his own classes until he was nearly 2 and I don’t think it really…
I was also home from school that first day, because even my first period meant nauseau and nearly debilitating pain. My mom didn’t understand how bad it was and no doctor ever cared until I was diagnosed with Endo at age 33, primarily due to infertility. So please, listen to your daughters. They shouldn’t be missing…
It’s so hard to find a group to support you sometimes when you have a newborn. I found a local breastfeeding support group and a babywearing group. I didn’t even need help with breastfeeding, I just needed to get out of the f’ing house, so I attended the in-person group. And the babywearing group was awesome. But…
Yeah, pregnancy sucks ass. It gets easier in the second trimester and hard again in the third when you’re just ginormous.
I have several half-siblings I’ve never met too, though I’m not adopted. (Bio dad left my mom before I was born and never attempted to contact me.) I don’t think any of them even know that I exist. I found my bio dad a few years ago but it really wasn’t particularly exciting. We e-mailed a couple times and spoke on…
Beyond timers, weather, and Spotify, our favorite use is the “Animal Sounds” skill. “Alexa, play animal sounds” and she asks what animal you’d like to hear. Even my 2 year old can get her to do the sound he wants. My husband also set up a dot in the car, just to see if he could. Now, whenever we arrive somewhere, the…
I love the honeycomb ones for my socks. I have similar partitions to those above for underwear, tank tops, swimsuits, etc. Really works well for my shallow drawers that can’t really hold larger items anyway.

Uh-oh, Sing is leaving. Good thing, Incredibles 2 is coming in less than a week.
I love using my Fitbit as my alarm. I still do the two alarm method for my 5AM class. One goes off at 4:30 and the second at 4:35. Which reminds me I need to fix it so it stops going off on my recovery day. My husband sleeps through them both. I’m typically already waking by then, especially if I’ve been up some other…
The only Janie and Jack clothes we had were gifts. The quality was good, bit still didn't justify the price tag. My kids stain everything, I might as well stick with Target and ignore the baby Biden and Hanna Anderson unless I find them at a consignment sale.
I wish that was true. My formerly unemployed husband finally got a job a month ago and our house is so nasty now. But I just don’t have the time or energy to do the thorough cleaning job it needs. At least when he was home all day he pitched in enough that I could do the bigger jobs. Now I just do everything I can…
The worst part about this list is how I scoured it to find things that he does. Despite the fact that it’s only about 5% (rough estimate) it seems like I should be grateful that he stepped up slightly more than yours. But then again, that happened while he was unemployed for nearly 2 years and our children remained in…
