There have to be some ex-pats around, maybe there’s a bar that shows American sports where you can find them? I visited a college friend while she was living in Auckland and we made a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for them. It was awesome, they all loved it, and we even made them watch American college football on a

yep, or kids that are just doing it for pocket money. We got robbed (they boosted someone in through the tiny shower window) and they took our laptops, PS3, and Wii. They didn’t even hunt for jewelry; my nightstand was untouched.

I have a toddler and a preschooler and they are always snitty when they get home from daycare. Feeding them is DEFINITELY the right answer but navigating that is difficult. If we let them snack too much, then they won’t eat their dinner. But they get super hangry otherwise, so we definitely have to walk the line there.

Are the prices still higher than in-store? Also, by the end of the month you won’t be able to use the Savings Catcher with these purchases, only those that are done in store with the Walmart Pay App. So anybody with cash or EBT is now screwed out of using the Savings Catcher. Way to discrimate against the poor,

they probably aren’t allowed to accept tips. I went shopping with my newborn and toddler at a Vons and for the first time ever I let the bag boy bring my groceries to my car. I tried to tip him and he said he had to refuse the money. (I think Vons was still owned by Safeway at the time but now they are owned by

I didn’t do anything unique this month but I’ve been steadily progressing for the last year or so. I started with couch to 5k with a jogging stroller when the baby was waking at 5am. Then I was only doing a run/walk on weekends and losing my focus despite running in my first 5k earlier this year. But in May I joined

I loved her on Channel One! It’s so strange to think I watched her and Anderson Cooper 25 years ago.

My pre-schooler might like this but her little brother would rather “read” to himself each night. (He just turned 2) But man, does he love to have Alexa do the animal sounds skill. He can’t quite get her to turn on, but he can get her to understand most animals he wants. Try it out yourself, and make sure to ask for

She’s on one of the early episodes of the good place podcast; it’s awesome.

My almost 2 year old really likes these books from the library. We started with red but we also have blue and yellow now.

My 3.5 year old is very insistent that her crayons include an indigo and a violet, purple is just not enough for her.

That’s weird, I’d always heard that Huggies makes the Kirkland diapers too. Maybe they are still a lesser quality? I don’t know for sure. We used the cheaper Huggies with my first kid because my husband is into brand-names but I wore him down with kid #2 (probably because he lost his job when the kid was 4 months old)

I love the Target brand (Up&Up) diapers but maybe they wouldn’t be soft enough for you. They are character-free, the designs are circles and whales.

My 3.5 year old really wants head banging music sometimes but I’m not quite sure what’s appropriate. So far, it’s mostly been Beastie Boys but I’m always on the lookout for more.

Kids LOVE Shake it Off! It’s on our spotify “kid pop” playlist along with Happy and Cups and similar tracks.

Island in the Sun is my 3.5 yo daughter’s favorite “lullaby” and she calls it the “mommy song.” I showed her the Spike Jonze music video recently and she was overjoyed and yet confused that someone else was singing my song.

No votes for Boston Creme Pie? My husband loves it so much that he made his own for his birthday this year and then ate it over the course of a week.

I think they’re just reminding you that the tag always goes in one of two corners. I almost always put the tag on the upper left corner (when facing the bed, that’s upper right by their definition) but I know it can go on the opposite bottom as well. What takes the longest time for me though is stuffing in the
