Second grade here. My mom still lives there too but I escaped to sunny California. We lived in boehner country.

I remember studying for the SAT. I wasn’t consistent though and I was typically best at the beginning of the alphabet, like ameliorate.
I love my iud. I had super heavy and painful periods my whole life. Bcp helped some but then it took 2.5 years to get pregnant and they were awful again. Got the mirena after baby #2 and didn’t even have a period for nearly a year while I was breastfeeding. Since then, they’ve been light enough to never need more than…
I haven’t heard of this but it makes a ton of sense. I had a uterine biopsy recently because my endometrial lining was a little too thick and during the procedure my gyno mentioned he felt a fibroid. I frequently have urinary issues but I just talked it up to having given birth twice. My mom got them a ton during…
We love the Cat & Jack clothes. My 3 year old HATES tags with a passion and I have to cut all of them out whenever she finds them. (which sucks if I would like to re-sell the item at a future consignment sale) Sometimes I’m amazed how she can still find tags even though she’s worn the clothes before. Sometimes the top…
Also made an excellent prom theme.
Coworker puts it on eggs. It really wasn’t bad.
We do this for the trash cans because one is for recycling and one is for regular trash. But we should definitely do more next time...
Ugh, sunset junction. Like standing on the surface of the sun, every year. And every band started late. At least I could buy over priced drinks at an actual restaurant.
That’s always bugged me since it got big.
I’m in California and when I gave birth last time I got a bill a year later for the newborn hearing test. I kept sending then my health insurance card, they kept sending me late statements. It turned out they needed to bill my medical group but they were trying to bill blue shield directly and it was denied. Same…
My stylist no longer accepts tips through square, only cash tips. I always tip 30% or more because she charges so little.
My breastfeeding support group was all about chiros, essential oils, and elderberry syrups. They also thought circumcision was child abuse and eventually I got kicked out for disagreeing with the admin. But they had some helpful breastfeeding advice mixed in with quackery and I met some nice moms.
Seems to be common, we definitely had covers for our hands back in the early 90s. My mom used to be a teaching assistant and was given a typewriter that had blank keys, maybe that was more common in the 1960s.
I think that’s pretty normal. I know my husband says that his typing improved back when he was using AOL Instant Messenger all the time in college.
It definitely starts before two, I’ve got a 19 month old that is seriously frustrated that I can’t understand him. My 3.5 year old is great at using her words to express her emotion but she uses it for procrastination. “I can’t get in my car seat until I calm down.” “I can’t get dressed until I stop being angry.” “I…
First time I got the recall notice (2005 Toyota Matrix) I tried to get it fixed and they said they didn’t have the parts yet. Then I followed up a few months later and felt like they were chastising me for not bringing it in earlier. Now I just got another recall notice saying that I needed to get it fixed all over…
I don’t know, seems like a lot to me. I’m an environmental engineer and my firm works on a lot of litigation support cases where our owner (a PhD chemist) is the expert witness. I’m pretty sure he charges $350/hour, but there are different rates for deposition testimony and trial than just writing the Expert Report.
I do, I get up at 5:20, do a 20 to 30 minute youtube workout, make breakfast, and eat it while I watch 15 minutes of HGTV with my coffee. I try to be showered before the kids get up around 6:45AM. That “me” time is critical. I’m too tired at night to appreciate that hour after I get them in bed before I pass out.
The first reformer studio I visited required a one hour intro class that inlt had a couple srudents so you could learn how to use rhe straps, adjust the weights, and learn the basic moves. They had a fairly prescribed warm up and then sets of moves in the same position. They also offered a cardio class with a…
