Drawing information out of people by asking the right questions and being friendly. I’m an environmental engineer and I do a lot of property transaction work and litigation support so I interview people and go do research at local agencies and city hall. To really find out the history of a place you’ve got to get

We definitely do pouches along with BLW, it’s just easier on the go. My toddler still ended up being a bit of a picky water but I think that’s pretty common at age 2. The best part was how easy it was for our day care to go along with it. He was 11 months old when he attacked this sloppy joe at lunch.

I fully support giving candy to older teens, but the lazy ones that show up with no costume and no bag, I don’t particularly like giving them candy. I don’t want to just put a piece of candy in your open hand.

We always do $20, folded between the credit card and driver’s license. Then we ask if there are any available upgrades. Sometimes it’s a better room, sometimes it’s just getting the resort fee waived.

I would love to be woo’d by someone with a large...vocabulary. (Though my laconic husband might mind for more than one reason.)

I’m a little confused, will BCP (and/or other contraception) still be covered but with a prescription drug co-pay?

well, now I have to research this. We love pancakes at my house but I’m lazy and just use the krusteaz mix. Bisquick is too much work for me.

I respect my co-workers that make time to plan and go on elaborate vacations. I wish we could do the same but I knew that saving up my PTO would allow me to have a decent length maternity leave instead. And that was more important. Now I get to use it on staycations where my mother flies out to see her grandchildren

I’m so glad my last name is easy to pluralize. My cousin’s married name is Niehaus. When I got them a customized for knocker I just went Niehaus Family.

This teledoc thing in general sounds amazing. I just got an offer from my health insurance to start using an app to talk to a doctor. They can even prescribe drugs over the app and it only costs $5 per “visit.” Exactly what you need when you have a nasty cough and just want some codeine or tamiflu.

Not necessarily, surveying techs can apprentice or start with an AA. Civils need to know surveying but you don’t have to be a civil to do it.

Similar here, I’m an environmental engineer and work with geologists and soil scientists in the environmental consulting world. The newbies tend to be outside at least 50% of the time. Now I’m at the desk job because I manage those guys but we still go out in the field occasionally.

I love the zoo idea. Our local aquarium is a good one too.

Clicked through to mention bowling, saw it was already there. That’s where my husband took me on our first date. Unfortunately, it was cosmic bowling so it was really loud and the strobe lights were going.

I make the “Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie” about once a week and it goes over like gangbusters. I’m lazy and I just use dehydrated onions but sometimes I add corn or green chilis. If I’m feeling adventurous, I swap out the hamburger for pork sausage and brown it with some frozen peppers and onion mix, then top with

1) plus one to putting the new diaper underneath first. I’ve got a roller who wants to escape so I’ve gotta go fast. A toy or book helps too.

I’ve never seen anyone connect rage to PPD but that’s definitely the strongest symptom I felt beyond the first couple weeks. I had the “baby blues” with both kids but those passed quickly and I attributed it to hormones and fatigue. But I definitely have had some moments in the last year where I just wanted to scream

I truly dislike all this pink washing and cancer awareness (like dude, I’m aware, everyone’s aware) but I’m glad the NFL is being a bit more inclusive of all cancers this time around. Does cancer suck? yes, just like heart disease and diabetes and a whole host of other diseases.

I wish I could give you all the stars, instead of just one.

A tap card only costs $1. The worst thing about them is they spontaneously expire without warning, even if you have money on them. Getting the balance transferred is a pain.
