I didn’t love that MNF broadcast but I think Rex Ryan really put a damper on it.

Almost completely off topic, but I saw her speak when I was a high school senior visiting USC. Our flight was a red eye back to the midwest so we had some extra time that evening and could choose between her and Michael Dukakis. Probably sealed the deal that I’d end up going to school there if those were the on-campus…
I’ve always brought my own mat, just in case. I highly recommend finding a relaxation class or level 1 to get started.
Now I have to check this out. My husband and I love this movie and have already taught our daughter to say “Have fun storming the castle!” whenever someone leaves the house. (She also says it to daddy when I’m taking her to day care )
Personally, I’d rather focus on infant care. It’s SO hard to find care for babies under age 2. The most reasonable price I could find is still more than my mortgage for two kids.
We screw everything to the wall, dressers, bookcases, etc. Strap got the tv too
Together for 12 years this month, married for 7.
Infant care is especially hard to find. My day care provider decided to close right before I was going on maternity leave for baby #2. I scrambled and managed to find a space five months later and just kept both kids while on leave. That space is so precious that we’ve kept the kids in care for the past seven months…
You can do it, those first few weeks are the hardest. (Mine are nearly 1 and 2.5 right now). If I had HG, I definitely would have stopped with one kid. As it is, I’m almost done with pumping at work and there’s no way I’d have a third kid if it meant another 8 months (after 4 months maternity leave) of pumping…
Even without twins, my bff and his wife really appreciated me coming over and just holding the baby for them so they could shower, eat, do laundry, etc.
One handed food is the best. I made breast feeding support tote for a friend with Lara bars, a big water bottle, and a back up battery for charging your cell phone.
Even if they don’t clean, I would’ve just loved someone to come wash dishes and take out the garbage.
I agree. First I had the big double stroller so I could click in the car seat and have room for my toddler. After wheeling that behemoth around, my little umbrella stroller and my jogging stroller feel so light and easy to push.
I’m no runner but I’m working on it. I’m on week seven of a couch to 5k program. I’m sure the fancy joggers are great but just getting a used baby trend jogger was enough for me. $35 and I’m on the road. Also, I prefer to switch hands and I put my fitbit around my bra strap so I still get steps.
I love Aldi, but don’t disparage Target diapers. These are much cheaper and a few times a year you can get decent gift card amounts back when you buy in bulk. https://www.target.com/p/diapers-giant-pack-size-3-160-ct-up-up-153/-/A-16313665?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Baby+Shopping_Brand&adgroup=SC_…
If only my 2.5 year old would try something other than the standard variety. I’ll just save this for later.
I guess I’m officially old because I barely even know that this song exists. But may I also point out that “one sweet day” is a horrible morbid song so I don’t mind it being replaced.
I’ve never used Dr. Bronner’s in the laundry, but that sounds like a great idea. I already love white vinegar as a fabric softener. I buy most of my kids’ clothes at a consignment sales, so this is a great tip for me.
