That's why John Oliver had three climate change deniers on his show and 97 people on the other side. Obviously, nothing actually got talked about, but it made the point. Larry Wilmore of the new Nightly Show has been doing a good job with only allowing one crazy person to the three rational ones. He had one

I agree, another post about estate planning would be great. I hear about Living Revocable Trusts all the time but I have no idea how to set one up, or how much it should cost me to do it.

I was told not to get my heart rate over 120, even less than 140. The nurse practitioner didn't both to ask me what my fitness routine was like, just gave me this stupid guideline. I was working out at least 6 days per week: reformer pilates, barre, and high intensity interval training. I gave up the HIIT and cut back

I bought panties from a vending machine at a Japanese rest stop in the mid-90s when the airline lost my luggage. It was awesome and I still have them, 19 years later.

yeah, stupid trampoline. helped him with the jumping.

I saw them with Weezer too. Blink was my husband's favorite band and Weezer is mine. I've seen Weezer 14 times and that was, hands down, the worst Weezer show I have ever seen. I'm glad they got over that phase where Rivers jumps around like a monkey and Pat plays guitar.

I'm so glad I never have to code, but my single programming class in college (for civil and environmental engineers only) required us to do every project in C and Fortran. That was in the late '90s, I wonder if they still do it that way.

I was totally contemplating that yesterday. Instead I put the baby in her bouncer in the bathroom and let the white noise of the exhaust fan put her in a baby coma. Those little talons are hell on my breasts.

I wish someone had warned me about the postpartum recovery. Luckily, I only had a couple moments of baby blues (no PPD thus far), but everything else sucks hard. Pregnancy was hard, but recovering from childbirth (and a much harder afterbirth, thanks to manual extraction of my placenta that left me with scratches on

from another survivor of 2.5 years of infertility, good luck with your pregnancy!

I wish I'd had twenty four hours, I came sheen within ninety minutes. Probably having my placenta manually extracted didn't help. I was in hideous, hideous pain, with continuing contractions because my uterus wouldn't firm up and gushing blood. But this is very fresh in my mind because I am only seven weeks postpartum.

I've discovered that breastfeeding a newborn has freed up a lot of time for reading. Eight to twelve twenty minute sessions per day.

Seriously, I can't imagine going through that many IUIs and IVF treatments, especially if all the IUIs were medicated. Two medicated IUIs was too much for me; luckily, we were finally able to conceive naturally after surgery and other treatment for the later diagnosed endometriosis. Plus, not everyone can afford that

While USC does have cheerleaders, you are probably thinking of our Songgirls. They are more like the dance squad and part of the marching band.

I have a 1099 job in addition to my full-time position and I have extra withheld from each paycheck (you can specify a dollar amount beyond the standard withholding) and I pay quarterly to the state. They required it one year because I owed too much at the end of the year but the feds didn't have the same stipulation.

I agree, the target select a size is the best. Kirkland is a bit cheaper, but they often only have the regular sized paper towels so it's not worth it.

and California has the best pregnancy leave in the US. It's great to live here even if our cost if living is really high because we get state disability for pregnancy and bonding.

I have to write monthly checks to my company for my insurance premiums. They won't wait for me to come back. Either that or take just enough sick or vacation time off to cover them each pay period.

My 401k doesn't have any matching, but we have profit sharing which is discretionary. The profit sharing used to go in our 401k but it goes into a separate account and a fund I didn't get to pick. Luckily, that fund has fine relatively well so I'm not disappointed.

I gave birth on Monday at two in the afternoon. I could have gone home Tuesday afternoon but I stayed till Wednesday morning to get the good drugs a little longer and have some extra help with the baby. Luckily, they didn't make me poo first, still haven't managed it. lots and lots stitches.
