Oh the raising awareness part is definitely there. If they just wanted to find a place to just test the car, they could have gone to somewhere like Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK.

Well, it’s called the HTTT for a reason :) It’s quite impressive to see it in person.
Umm no. The lbs, like the kg, are both units of mass. If you’re looking for a unit of weight that will be something like the Newton.
Oh, yeah, the design is shit. I actually drove both the Scénic (gen 2) and the first gen C4 Picasso. Quite nice car to drive,, they don’t feel like minivans, but rather bigger hatchbacks in which you need to be a bit more careful when trying to do a corner at full throttle.
Oh, yeah absolutely. The Scénic is considered to be the best handling minivan. Renault Sports chassis are master pieces (whoch says a lot about the standard chassis of the cars). If there’s one thing us French know how to make, it’s a good chassis.
The main and only reason the C6 didn’t sell was because it was a French executive car. For some reason (read: we being a bunch of idiots who consider premium only from ze Germans), we (French people, and Europeans) don’t want to spend that much money on a French car, despite how good it is, when we can have a German…
As the other said, the second gen Laguna was probably one of the worst cars produced by Renault in the last 15 years. Loads of reliability problem, either eletrical or mechanical (the gearboxes were msotly crap, same as the engine, especially on the earlier ones).
Along with the Espace (gen 4), it is the main reason,…
Happy cars!
Oh, a couple years back in France (I want to say late 2000s, around 2009), the FFSA made a real crackdown on spectators safety. Before you could actually go anywhere you wanted. Now, organisers need to put up safe and unsafe areas as well as forbidden ones. And even in safe spots, the closest the area cannot be closer…
The press kit is already available if any of you are, like me, tired of waiting for the conference to actually start...
Well, thank you :)
The Xsara was the reasonable one out of the two. I think the 306 was a bit more aggressive handling-wise (the Xsara was a Citroën and the 306 a Peugeot after all). Other than different setup, the chassis and underpinings of the car were the same.
Are we talking new cars (or cars that are still being sold), or any hatchback ever created?
I was in Whangarei (the “wh” is a “f”) 2 weeks ago.... This rally did look very nice, heard and saw qauite a lot of ads for it.
I know. I made a complete post about them recently...
The odds of this make making it to mass production or low to nill. What I can see happen though is a limited run, made by Peugeot Sport (they are the one who create it after all). Combining the rarity of the car, with it’s appeal in terms of hot hatchness they could actually sell it for a higher price.
They could actually afford to make the hybrid one, not the regular one. This one is special enough they can sell it for a bunch of money, as well as them on a limited run that won’t require any investment towards production. They already have all the major components to create it in the rest of their range (the engine…
Fuel is quite cheap in NZ (think around $NZ 2 for a litre of petrol). And insurance is not complusory here, and it's quite cheap too. At most $NZ 50 a month.

And much more wit too. His tweet are usually wuite smart and well written for just 140 characters. Remember the Honda haikus?
